In today’s world, it’s unfortunate but true that most games don’t launch in a fully polished state, leading to a flood of post-release patches. Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remaster is no exception. But do the negative reviews really hold up?

To some extent, yes but not entirely.
The Day/Night Cycle issue is indeed problematic, especially in areas like the Silent Cathedral. I’ll admit I was surprised when I couldn’t see a thing and had to rely on the Spectral Realm to find my way. However, this didn’t result in prolonged frustration, moments like this took me only seconds to figure out despite the flaw. Moreover, the Day/Night Cycle doesn’t impact solving puzzles indoors, as those areas are lit. So while it’s an issue, it doesn’t feel like a deal-breaker in the grand scheme of things.

Now, let’s talk about Polish language support - it’s absent.
It’s a bit disappointing since including Polish localization would make the Nosgoth story more accessible to those who struggle with English or don’t speak it fluently. While this isn’t an issue for me personally, it’s something that could’ve helped the game reach a broader audience. That said, I won’t leave a negative review over it, as mods like the ones by Nidrax (translator for SR1 & SR2) offer a great solution for this!

I haven’t played SR2 yet, but I’ve made significant progress in the first game in this remastered version, and so far, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying myself. I trust Raina Audron and the team to release updates that will fix some of the current issues. For sure it is worth to give a chance! The game itself is fun and good

Shakes & Fidget had a certain and graphical atmosphere, everyone loved this game for that very reason. The second version of the UI still have some good level, now?
The buildings look 50 times smaller, and the graphics style has changed as if it were a mobile game, more friendly and cartoonish...

Why? Why do some creators, despite knowing that such a solution is not liked by players, decide to take such a step?

Right that a new UI was needed for the larger updates, but that still doesn't change the fact that they didn't have to change the graphic style even more or make these buildings look much smaller

I think they could have even just given a second tab of the main map where they could have given these things as well
I'm not the type of person who doesn't like changes and the introduction of something new, but I really don't like it when a game that has had a certain graphical atmosphere for a long time is changed to become more friendly, which also resembles a mobile version (Maybe this could be ok with the mobile, but for pc? Nah)

Zajebista gra, takiego tytułu nam trzeba w dzisiejszym GTA z takim mrocznym światem & soundtrackiem!
Każdy prawdziwy fan GTA musi to ograć!

Dragon Ball Figherz - Gra oparta o tematyce "Anime & Bijatyce", do wyboru mamy postacie takie jak - "Goku & Frieza & Android 18 & Cell itd" fabularnie gdzie każdy z nich ma inaczej przedstawioną historię.
