You know what, I hyped this game to hell and back, was super stoked for me next Witcher level open world game, I was ready to be immersed by what CDProjeckt Red had created.

Unfortunately, one mistake became two, which became 4, which then mistakes became just mere grains of sand on the debilitated beach that CDProjekt Red chose to die on.

Don't mistake my play time, I've easily racked 120 hours in this game with it not being logged into steam duo to performance modding. But wow, did I give CDPR the benefit of the doubt, and now I am sitting here, now February, It's clear as day that this vapour-wave abandon-ware is being left on the side of a dark road while CDPR drives on in order to scour the world of intellectual property for another 50/50 chance barstardise.

Seriously folks, joking aside they've released less in 2.5 months than I've seen some indy studios release in one week. The small and moderately dedicated modding community and provided more fixes and support than the big'ol moneybags developers have done, and that's CDPR's job.

Honestly, while checks the basic mark of 'being a VR game' it doesn't do a single thing else, controls are whack and you're lucky if you can even get past the character creation without being launched off the earth by the horse cart. Nah 2/10

Pork all the pretty ladies.

I am updating my review for Hell Let Loose now that Update 8 is out. This game focused on team play and struck a good balance between arcade and realism, by merging mechanics of the two.

The developers have seen some of that Battlefield big bucks and have steered the game towards that end. They've increased the lethal TTK, reduced friendly fire damage and have focused dumbing down the experience overall, you can add some shiny mechanics, but they've really not thought about how that impacts the game as a whole. Every match is a ♥♥♥♥-show of mic-less griefers, where the KD matters more than winning points or effective team-play.

Spend nearly a year on an update that's sub-par, shallow and makes grass bulletproof, i m m e r s i o n.

The new bombing run effects are a pretty neat explanation of this update, sure, it's got a loud bark and looks pretty, but it's shallow and may as well be a nert stielhandgranate.

Incredible game, can be slow and a bit poo if you don't communicate, but join a squad who's working as a team, the whole thing fits together. Each individual member of the 50 man team has their own jobs, roles and tactics that helps secure victory against the enemy forces.

Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it goes to ♥♥♥♥ faster than you can yell 'ERIKA' as you throw your fist through some drywall.

Tell you what though, you're going to have a blast whichever side of the fight you're on, as long as you're talking to your squad though.

If you don't have a mic, go pick one up. it's crucially necessary beyond absolute importance,

I've just completed my first sitting, Never before have I spent over 2.5 hours on a single sitting in VR.

I'm really, really glad I live alone with this game. Multiplayer combat complete wish ♥♥♥♥-talking needs to be the next step.
