The only game capable of breaking my login streak everywhere else

Reminds me of my 101 in 1 games cartridge I had for my yellow-purple Nontendo Entertainment System. Cherry requirements are very difficult for those looking for a (50) challenge. Does not come with super scope compatible games. Does not repeat games after the first 12.

This game has a lot to offer in rpg gameplay, but it only serves to hide one simple thing:

Steam Deck Version:
Slight performance hickups, achievements do not trigger.
No Steam Cloud so saves have to be manually moved between devices. Deck at your own risk.

A VERY finely tuned roguelike where every death is indeed entirely your own fault. But still allows for very powerful combinations if you choose your loadout and boons just right. Also comes with the signature supergiant features.

Recent entries in the roguelike category may make you think of the genre as games for short sessions. But this game, while adhering to that notion, also houses a huge world and many secrets which allows you to turn your current run into a several hours action RPG playthrough. It is incredible how much there is to discover and I didn't even mention the physics engine, the wand and spell system and its many interactions.

The deaths may be frustrating at times but there are balance fixes being released from time to time. This is what early access is for. Looking forward to future updates.

I was fortunate enough to have a friend recommend the game and most importantly handhold me through the game, so I was able to launch a rocket within 50 hours and get a good look at how the game works.
Now we are sitting at multiple restarts of bob's&angel's and a ton of other mods, so see you in 50 years or so.
