Early Access Review
Great ARPG, viable build diversity and depth done right. I've always had a personal preference for mage play styles and LE gives me so many ways to play them, each with a great feel. Ignore the negative cosmetic cash shop reviews. The game is actively worked on and innovative, a true labor of love and future classic.

Fundamentally intact on every facet, from replayability to balance to build diversity, VS is a gem.

Fun game but rough enough around the edges to feel like Early Access. The game starts slow. At first glance it comes across as shallow. The more you begin to understand, however, the greater the tempo and more revealing the depth. If you enjoyed the RPG Outward, this is the ARPG version.

Your gear slots determine your skill keys and the viable build diversity is incredible. The skill tree captures both your crafting capabilities and character build. The crafting system is expansive. The typical loot explosions and sifting through gears isn't present. It's all crafting driven and you make specifically what you want after hunting the materials to do so.

There isn't a ton of information available yet, so don't expect to mindlessly mimic your favorite streamer's build while melting through the content. It's the type of game where you may wall out and have to rethink your build or approach. If you're looking for a POE, TitanQuest, or DII type ARPG, this isn't it. This is, however, a sound and fun ARPG I would certainly recommend.

Looking for a diamond in the rough? This is one. It's shocking it has so little attention.

Up-tempo dungeon delving through sprawling real estate and fiendish foes, every RPGer's ideal evening. Can be a bit rough around the edges at times, yet is entirely playable with a solid amount of available content. Dungeons of Sundaria flirts with nostalgic but handles like a modern title and may very well be a classic in its infancy.

I picked this up for 14.99 and ended up sending two friends copies as well. I'm convinced it's a gem.

The only downside to this game that stands out is having to follow their own act. Both titles are the future of classic isometric RPGs.

It has a different feel from the first Pillars. Being the Captain of a ship is cool, but simply nowhere near as cool as being the Lord of Caed Nua. Great combat, great gameplay, and the story is solid but nothing when side-by-side with the first PoE. The class system is much better in PoE II, with the ability to actually cross class. The post-game content is challenging and captivating. Definitely worth checking out.

I recommend this title to all isometric RPG fans, especially if you enjoyed the first.

A brilliant game with plenty of room for creativity and exploration. Not so in-depth that it feels tedious or arduous, but not shallow enough to lack personality. My kid loves it, I love it, everyone should love it. Highly recommended for sandbox and space enthusiasts
