I've been wanting to replay this for years and the original steam port was near unplayable with how much it crashed. So glad they remastered it so it actually runs.

Edit:Beat the game, I remember everything up till the end. So happy to finally have closure to know how this game ends. Onto the second game!

Heroin is probably a healthier, but definitely more expensive, option than playing this game.

I have been playing this game since I believe 2014, on and off, and I could not recommend it more. It is slowly becoming that "Zombie game we've dreamed of playing since we were able to even think about playing zombie games" type of game. It's just perfect. The engine is wonderful, the gameplay is great, surviving is challenging yet fun, the aspect of creating your own character is fun and challenging to make your character strong but not too weak if playing with the allotted points given. If you haven't played this game you are 100% wasting an opportunity to find your new favorite game and best friend, people are cruel and unforgiving sometimes, Project Zomboid... Project Zomboid is always there for you.

Now, you're gonna get mad if you read this... but that being said... This game to me has always felt like Terraria, but just better. Now I know it isn't fair to compare the two just because they're both adventure 2d mine, build, survive games... But they do have a lot of similarities, but, BUT!, they have also have a lot of differences! Being able to go to several planets as you please is just plain amazing. The giant pile of mods are amazing. It's just, god... It's amazing! If you like Terraria and have never played this game I HIGHLY suggest you give it a try.

While I have the attention span of a goldfish, and I get bored of games very easily, I always end up coming back to this game. I enjoy the story, albeit argueably the worst in the series. I enjoy the gameplay, which is in my personal opinion the best in the series. It's just such a good game with hours of fun and a good time waste if you feel like setting up camp in a crow's nest and taking out an entire base with your sniper. 10/10

I'm... not okay.

I can't stand this game. Which is exactly why I keep hitting restart because I won't let it beat me.

Update: December 1, 2018. I've came back to the game. I can't stop. I buildt a grand house of 2 whole rooms. Cecill came into my house as I slept and hit me with a whip.

10/10 Great updates this year


Update: December 4, 2018. To anyone down-voting this game play more than a single hour! My current save is 30+ hours in and all I have done is a house with two rooms! This is a game that requires a good chunk of time investment!
