i get what you were saying chuck, about the whole removing ds even though casual players are probably not good enough for that. Making it harder for the casual players does seem like a stupid move when you're trying to "revive" the community. How are we suppose to revive it when the casual/newer players don't even have a chance against good/pro players. This forces the same few people (who have been playing l4d for years, are pro now) to keep playing with each other and no improvement will ever be made. but l4d has been dead, so it's like you said, "who cares?"

Chuck that's pointless. The game died in 2009-2010, competitive speaking. Who played by that time, competitive speaking of course, knows that this is true. I speak for myself, early's 2009 were just the best and the REAL competitive times. -- Not saying that the game wasn't/isn't worth playing in 2010-2011-2012 and so on. Now please, don't take me wrong Chuck, but I recommend you to think before you act/state something; things can't be ignored once said.
You're just being contraditory on what you're saying because, first, you said that people need to change the current gameplay, and then you complain about 100 tick and no Bhop. Don't blame the game, MUCH LESS the community, since you're a quitter, you have no room to talk about what the game needs to be improved. -- ACT, don't just TALK.

And Vanilla isn't more complex than a competitive config - since a competitive config it's the "Vanilla in itself", but completly changed.

Every 3 months a group is forming to revive l4d.In 1 month ,on maybe 20 teams create for the purpose,only 3 will be present.The only way to gather a lot of players would be to change the current gameplay, to diversify the possible strategys other than "let's hide in a room without balls to burst the tank and rush to the safe,spamming the hunters".But nobody will make this , because all the remaining players on this game just suck their ♥♥♥♥ each others and don't want to take the risk to change their habits. And i forget to mention the fact they disable bhop with their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 100 tick. I have learn everythings in this game in many accounts and more than 5000 hours , train like a freak for what now ?+forward and m1 spam?It's like removing sniper for a hardcore 360 noscope geek in COD:no sense for a true fan of the game.So maybe i will re-play;but for fun.Even vanilla is now harder and complex than roto. What a shame.:)
