TL;DR Absolute blast to play albeit few hiccups with random crashes, fast paced combat with weapon variety, slightly lacking story and Arto Niemis (Quality Finnish dubs strike again) "VOIIIIII SENTÄÄÄN!!" Recommendation for any and all R&C fans.

The presentation of this game is far more phenomenal compared to its predecessors. Way more cinematic lights, poses, filters, sounds and music which can be its hindrance at times. Like the soundtrack for example has an orchestrated composition that's a bit too forgettable unlike the preceding entries with their unique sounds. But some tracks in the game were memorable like Nefarious city and Sargasso. Sargassos track gave me heavy Jak and Daxter vibes from how "alien" it sounds with a hint of glimmer for hope. Cutsecenes are on the level with Pixar animation they just are that good. ENG voice acting was very good compared to FIN acting, I'm thinking maybe the director/derictor wasn't on par this time that resulted in an odd quality acting.

Planet/level design might be a bit weaker in some planets like Savali where you mostly traverse the surface via jetboots, the speed and the ramps make it fun but the planet itself is a bit barren to the eyes. Ofc there are many things to jump off and on to, grind and such.

The most bizarre addition to the game was a sprint option that became obsolete after you got the jetboots that was nowhere to be seen in the older games. Sure there were the heli/jet dash in the older R&C titles and they were already established moveset for Ratchet. The new Phantom Dash replaces them making your invulnerable while its active making it one of your core moves in combat and in platforming. Weapon additions surpass the enemy types in the game so there's more than one way to kick someones behind my favourite being the blackhole thing forgot the name. Its literally turns you into Heavy TF2.

Really wish they'd give more background to Rivet and Kit, where and why they sit in the universes considering the length of the game. Maybe in the future they will fill the void with more story after what ever happened to Angela Rivet does mention in the very late game how she and Angela escaped Prison Zordoom together and that other guy in crack in time. Seems that the continuity has been broken a little.

Combat is familiar to returning R&C players. Aim, soot, strafe, jump, dodge the usual stuff. Just as you would expect from a preceding R&C game but very friendly to new players too to learn and master. The combat is even better now with mouse and keyboard controls with fully customizable binds trivializing most of the combat sections.

Sweet and short-ish R&C title. Well done experience with great gameplay and stunning visuals. 8/10.

TL;DR very captivating cyberpunk RPG game similar to GTA, Fallout, Borderlands and The outer worlds but with a slight hint of that tabletop spice like D&D and Shadowrun. Still slightly rough around the edges but definetly way more playable than the previous versions of the game.

The story is rather good but requires investigation by the player to go deeper into the rabbit hole, finding all and reading the shards about the world and characters. Same goes with the text messages and holo calls, but the mainstory is laid out for the player mostly from the get go and as they progress. After certain ammount of playthroughs you already know about these or chose to ignore them. Along the way you will meet a colourful cast of characters like Jackie Welles who you meet and get to know during the first hours of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 also features multiple endings that can be discovered right before the final act.

Main character V's character creation is bit basic but on par with Fallout and Skyrim gives the player to create with and expanded more with mods. Choose from either between 2 presets, randomized or build from scratch with both male or female V. Assign trait points and a backstory from either Nomad, Streetkid or Corp. They only affect your start chapter and some dialogue options later in the game. While exploring and building your character as you progress, you get to assign trait and perk points as you desire to make the V of your liking. Whether it be a hulking tank wielding the largest LMG you can find or a slithering sneak with deadly accuracy. Melee options also include Blunt weaponry and sharp weaponry but that is up to you to figure out.

Unique part of this game is cyberware and cyberware modifications, they alter the gameplay even more with adding on top of traits and perks. V always starts with a cyberdeck for quick hacking targets which isnt really good at first but can be upgraded later to a better one or completely swapped out for 2 other options like reflex altering sandevistan or powering berserk. Of course there are cyberware capabilities for V's frontal cortex, ocular-, circulatory-, immune-, nervous-, integumentary-, operating system, skeleton, hands, arms and legs. Feeling like being 90% organic? Or maybe you'd like a fully chromed body?

Night city as a whole feels very near futuristic and very similar how GTA's cities and world is built but with more vertical with skyscrapers and megabuildings even though most of the players time is spent on ground level. Perhaps that will be addressed in later builds or DLC but for now mods fix that issue. What was surprising is that i had a hard time memorizing the map even after 240hrs compared to GTA.

V's main way of getting around the city is with a land vehicle, on foot or by fast travelling via fast travel points. More and more land vehicles can be purchased with your cash you make from whatever dirty work you take on or find. Bit dissapointing the AVs arent accessible otherwise aside from set story jobs or side jobs, but the mods fix that too with flying vehicles.

Soundtrack is amazing excluding one combat song which feels like you are being drilled into your earhole with an impact drill. Radios stations have bit of everything ranging from metal and rock to synthwave to EBM and jazz. The true meat around the bone is during the combat when either sneaking or spotted.

As it is now Cyberpunk 2077 holds its own currently even on slightly weaker hardware like mine, the city might not be filled with pedestrians or commutes but that didnt bother me. Combat is slightly janky and some of the cinematic moments are slightly broken with movement or FOV resetting itself. If you can look past these it is definetly worth playing and experiencing mods included.

TL;DR A bunch of combatminer Dwarves from a local spacerig turn an mineral rich planet full of man sized spiderants inside out. Superb Co-op experience with or without friends sprinkled with elements from L4D, Team Fortress 2 and Minecraft.

If this doesn't bring the pain, I'll retire... Just kidding it will!

There are 4 classes to choose from:
Scout is the most nimble of the dwarves with his grappling hook who also provides light with his pumped flaregun.
Gunner is the frontline with his heavy weapons arsenal and the damage dealer and also has his trusty zipline gun.
Engineer builds sentries and provides area denial with them and comes equipped with a platform gun too.
Driller uses his drills to move around with ease in the environment while also providing crowd controll with a flamethrower.
To add to that each class has a pickaxe, laserpointer, terrain scanner, other weaponry and cosmetics to be unlocked later. You are a painter and the dwarves are your canvas, only the sky is the limit.

I hope we go somewhere nice next time...

Caves and missons are randomly generated with mutators to name a few. 7 biomes with unique loot, darkness, hazards and enemies. Mine resources and craft them later to make better gear to kickass. You'll be accompanied by MULE which is basicly a minecart on legs and works as a resource depository for the mission. After a mission hit up a drink or 2 in the Abyss bar and bust out your dance moves at the jukebox. Abyss bar also provides craft beers with benefits like; Giving more health, mine more X-mineral, more melee power and so on... Only for a mission.

Game soundtrack is one the best I've heard in a long while. Having lonesome exploring music with horror, synthwave and ambient elements can send a chill down your spine. "The Descent" being one of my favourite exploring songs. Incoming wave songs have more aggression, beats and sense of urgency. With the new Volume 2 release, "A Distant Terror" is the song that will make you sweat in panic when something is approaching...

Great ancestors! What is that abomination?!

Glyphids are your main enemy in the caves. Man sized and larger spider-ant hybrids that will do everything in their power to eat you alive. With them dealt with there are other insect alike creatures lurking in the caves, but that is on you to find them out...

Physics based cooking simulation.

Be THE star of your own kitchen. Whip up amazing meals or destroy the whole kitchen, totally up to you. Slice, dice, grill, deep fry, assemble and garnish.

Gameplay is slightly rough because of the physics. Sometimes incredients go haywire but you'll get used to it. Sandbox mode is for the lazy, destructive and creative types.

Sounds are as you'd expect kitchen wares to make. Clinkety clanks and all that. There's a radio if you like to listen ingame songs OR listen to your own bangers. Who wouldn't like to listen Northern European Blackmetal masterpieces while cutting and frying MEAT.

It's literally your kitchen, not much else to say. 8/10 cook and chef approved.

~A story of a dethroned king and building a new kingdom~

TL;DR 3 diffirent difficulties for people looking challenge or story telling, fun combat encounters, slightly lacking story, tons of items and usables, colourful and beautiful scenery, amazing characters and a superb soundtrack!

~Story~
About to be crowned king Evan Pettywhisker Tildrum is dethroned by the mouse kind and a mysterious travellers jumps in the nick of time. With the help of him Evan needs to build a new kingdom superior to the mouse kind with blackjack and hookers and reuniting the world in the name of peace and meeting many colourful characters and upcoming party members. The story could use bit more polishing because there were few points in the game they never explained most of the dreams Evan had with the "mysterious kid". Also forbidding love between kings and kingmakers were never quite explained in detail.

~Gameplay~
You can have up 3 party members and 3 on backup for later but they won't level up unless they are active members. Combat is diffirent from the first Ni No Kuni. You won't fight with your familiars or spells instead you directly attack with your party members either by melee, ranged or performing skill attacks while dodging or blocking. Skills replace the old spell system meaning you can equip up 4 diffirent skill wether being supportive or offensive. New addition to the game is higgedlies that are kinda similar to familiars but you won't controll them directly. They randomly do things on their own depending on their skills. They have 1-2 skills that need to be activated in combat going near them.

~The world~
Overworld is absolutely stunning with colours and depth, All sorts of nooks and crannies to find and discover while keeping the chibi overworld travelling characters from the first instalment. Going to towns or caves and such characters grow to their normal size. Such a shame devs didn't impliment normal sizes on your kingdom when it's fully built.

~Your kingdom~
While exploring and battling enemies you need to manage your newly established kingdom, visiting it after almost every dungeon or key point on the story. Recruiting citizens around the world is also part of this massive task as dumb as it sounds but you gotta have subordinates from somewhere. Generating KINGGUILDERs as you do stuff around the world and upgrading your castle, town buildings and army. One thing bugged me in this building that you have no freedom placing buildings where ever you want to. I felt restricted though it's MY kingdom.

~Skimirsh~
Completely new addition to the game is overworld battles. Batlling bandits, sparring neighbouring kingdoms and pest controlling using 4 commanders each with 2 unique skills and units. These units can be swordsmen, spearmen, hammermen, bowmen, gunmen, wizards and witches. Ranged are neutral against everyone while melee units are either have advantage over the others being Swords > hammers > spears > swords.
I first was skeptical about this new mode but I ended up liking it alot.

~A story of a young, ambitiuos and determined girl~

TL;DR an action/puzzle game with timed matches featuring match 3 cooking and sidescrolling beat 'em up combat.

Meet Mina Han, who *REALLY* wants to join Victusias honoured Battle chef Brigade. On her great adventure she must make friends and enemies alike while overcoming various challenges by cooking and fighting/hunting.
*Insert Shia Labeouf meme here*

The gameplay is a mixture of rpg/sidescrolling/platformer/poyopoyo/puzzler/beat'em up elements. Matches consist of hunting, gathering and cooking.
Hunting/fighting is really basic beat 'em up styled combat with various moves like neutrals and directional combos like up-X or down-Y. "Beauty in simplicity" as the game would describe. While hunting you gather incredients to make your dishes once enough you get to cook.
Cooking is a matching puzzlegame where basic rule is match 3 of the same to advance taste gems to bigger levels adding flavour and points to you dish. While doing all this you must have a theme incredient in your dish or points will be detucted from your dish also you must appeal 1 to 3 judges with diffirent tastes. All this under a timelimit, trust me you will be on serious pressure once you get to the 1-5 minute marks and you haven't even stared on the dishes. Just like in real kitchens where EVERY second counts.
You can buy cookware, cooking aids and combat aids to make your hunting and cooking easier. My favourite combo of cookwares allways included of a combopan, a cutting board and an slowcooker oven.

Overall gameplay feels solid with customizable and tight controlls and matches are just enough difficult.

This game also features voiceacting on the main storylines, which is understandable. Not all sidelines need to be spoken. IMO voiceacting could've used teeny-tiny bit more depth.

Visually Battle Chef Brigade is very pleasing to the eyes with hand drawn characters and backgrounds. Music in this game is also very good but nothing too fancy. Just enough of... that something.

Absoletulely great game with amazing visuals, music and gameplay elements with challenges and daily events. This game will cause stress and pressure while cooking. 8/10!
