October 2013 - GTA5 Online Released.
Hackers and cheaters have control over the experience and ruins it for others.
Circa 2016 - Hackers positively affect the experience by enabling players to use unofficial "anti-cheat" solutions to finally play the game the way it was intended.
June 2023 - GTA 5 has now reportedly generated $7.7 billion in revenue.
September 2024 - Rockstar finally add an anti-cheat system. It's BattlEye. Hackers immediately use it to control and ruin the experience for others.

Can't wait for new players, old players, MTX whales, and the onslaught of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to migrate to GTA 6.
Eventually GTA6 Online will be the game I pick up once a year for a week or month to have some fun with mates and remember why we left.
Here's to another financially lucrative/creatively bankrupt decade for Take-Two/Rockstar.

Great collection and free so there's nothing to lose and everything to gain, especially if like me you're a fan of the anthology style!

Small technical note:

• Problem: "Looking around feels slow! I've maxed out the games mouse speed and it's still not right."
  
• Cause: Mouse input is smoothed over frames but game has uncapped framerate by default with no options for VSync or framerate limit/cap.
  
• Solution: Limit game's framerate to your monitors refresh rate, if in doubt, 60fps is always fine.
  
  
• Notes: I'd recommend you use RTSS[www.guru3d.com]. Alternatively right click on your desktop to find your GPU's Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings respectively and set a limit there (just be sure to undo those changes when it's not needed).

It's only a minor issue but still something that could hinder someones experience of this otherwise perfect little spookfest so I do hope it gets addressed.

Besides being a quick ~1GB dowload/install I love using Aircar to test any changes I make with my headset since its easy to pick up and play on just about any setup.

Oh and if you have family/friends wanting to try out your headset, start with whatever little "VR Experience" you have on hand and if they want something "more" THIS IS PERFECT... it's like training wheels for more dynamic stuff.

An easy enough recommend for a fun and definitely challenging co-op game.
This game has few small, annoying and sometimes deadly bugs... just not in-game and sadly in the engine and servers it seems!

UPDATE: Dev's have made it clear with countless opportunities their priority is with furthering the live service before coming close to finalising mechanical issues and the seemingly endless deluge of bugs varying from frequent minor ones, slightly less frequent major bugs and glitches and the handful of whats basically fan favourite bugs and glitches... the ones that have been around since launch and everyone seems to be able to identify and say "oh yeah that one, its been here since the game started but you just have to take the L and in a day or two it'll just stop happening for a bit."

Thanks to the sense of camaraderie and the notion that a problem shared is a problem halved, this game will continue benefiting and profiting off its harvest of players willing to ignore the constant friction to just enjoy the core concept of the game even when all the worst bits piss them off.

Oh and the dev's have really found their stride in harbouring whilst also milking the "its just cool military stuff" fashwave demographic along with outright neo-nazis and seemingly every other flavour of boot-lickers in the community. Personally, I just distrust and dislike a team behind a game ostensibly mocking "all the bad things" while also steeping itself in "all the bad things" to then profit off representing "all the bad things".
Like, guys... making an anti-smoking cartoon that also licences the selling of cigarette shaped candy is at best sending mixed messages and seems disingenuous and at worst... well you're just promoting it under the guise of criticism.

RE2make, RE4make, RE7 are all masterful games as well as being peak modern Capcom!
RE8 (Village) is great too and RE3make is mostly fine in a vacuum.

RE3make and RE8(Village) to me, as a long time fan, show some of my Reoccurring Capcom Disappointments[TM]

Ask me my thoughts on this franchise and I'll never shut up! (^-^;)

Gameplay - 9/10 (Refined the same core concept of a game to absolute perfection.. shy of a handful of common issues that are almost staples... Collisions are still proving tough to make both accurate and feel reliable, huh FromSoftware?)

Mechanics - 10/10 (Controls feel precise, never feels direct but that's the reality of a grounded avatar. FromSoftware have a knack for creating worlds that are dead or dying yet always feel very much alive and lived in. As the player you can feel a strong presence in the world)

Graphics - 8/10 (Looks as beautiful as you'd hope, it serves the art direction perfectly as always!)

Art Direction - 10/10 (World building for both lore and visual design is one of FromSoftware's best strengths)

Performance - 5/10 (Capped at 60fps and is somewhat capable of reaching that playable though unimpressive goal. In desperate need of some optimisation. On high end PC's this game will run about the same regardless of settings being MIN or MAX, always a red flag.

Purchase at full price? If you really want. Personally I'd wait until the performance has been meaningfully fixed, as in players that could feel the issues notice them gone or greatly improved.
Patch notes discussing time spent and promises of improvements are good steps forward but if its improvements are imperceptible by players then its moot.

Final Thoughts? An excellent 9/10!
Just shy of Perfection this game is unfortunately marred by bad performance.
A game like a luxury super plane ready to fly around the globe, indulge passengers, pioneer and shatter records... only with the occasional worrying noise from the wing and landing gear liable to fall off any moment.

You're better opening Spotify and browsing an Ikea catalogue.

I wish I could say I like the idea of this game(?) but I sadly don't. I can understand the creators vision but I can't see their end goal for this app... But I can see how far their skill/creativity/motivation ends.

As it stands, this feels like a desktop toy from 2005.

This game is perfect in the sense that it achieves everything it sets out to do masterfully.
From art/aesthetic and sound design to controls and feedback this game succeeds in every field.

(Only thing I am left wanting for is a smooth turn option, but since its snap turning for both gameplay and comfort/accessibility purposes this is fine. I'd just like the option for smooth turning with a speed slider.)

Easily one of my favourite VR games, and actually one of my favourite roguelikes full stop!

Wholesome and genuinely funny.

I'm not a massive reader/player of Visual Novel Games but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Stop second guessing and give it a go I'd say! :)

UI is easy to learn and highly adjustable
Hotkey customisation in Soundpad is freaking sweeeeet
No fussing around with external plug-ins and extra downloads or general shjt like that, just as easy as Buy, Download, Run, Reset, GOOD 2 GO.

Then it's all just fun with throwing in sound bites and music. It also has a quick and easy built in editor which I personally love for the added convenience with the cropping to and cutting out of audio (also fade ins/outs)
