Gonna be so real with you all, I've been playing this game for years and I cannot in good conscience recommend that you spend your hard earned money on it. Mods are the only thing reanimating this corpse of a game and it is a damn shame that such a great idea was executed so badly. There are, of course, good things about this game. The building and exploration aspects are great fun, but the story is incredibly lackluster and a slog to get through. I would recommend this as a space colony building simulator and nothing else, the combat, narrative and worldbuilding are not enough.

I'm really glad Capcom has this ported everywhere, I can't afford surfing amazon for older consoles, so I'm really really happy I got the chance to play this. If you like action horror or RE at all, please give this a go, it's a classic for a reason!
