Kept hearing good things from people and all the award accolades that this was extremely good. didn't look all that interesting to me, but then I seen a streamer play it and bought it right away. It's the only game I've played for two weeks now.
Highly recommend.

Early Access Review
Better then I expected it to be and much more addictive. Updates have added or improved a lot since it came out. And the devs are great.

Not what I was hoping for but still enjoyable, much more so with mods. Still has that Bethesda jank/charm, but there's a certain something that's just missing.

How have I not recommend this already? Apart from any gameplay stuff, which is typical 4x with extra flavour; this game allows you to roleplay the most asinine factions possible. From faschist space peacocks to literal peacenik tree hippies. Angry space terminators, to hivemind exterminators. And that's the real fun of it!

A unique mix of strategy and puzzle mechanics with a considerable amount of replayability much in the vein of FTL.

170 hours played as of writing this and I've never finished the grand campaign. It's like other total wars but far more in your face about trying to destroy you and make things difficult. I've had a far easier time with the DLC campaigns (the opposite of Rome 2 for me) that explore parts of history I wasn't to fimiliar with.
One of my favorite things about the Total War series is that it always kindles a facination with the historical context of it's settings.

Still the best 'turn the world Roman red simulator' I've played

One of the more unique games I've played in recent memory: Loot grinding space ninja co-op RPG shooter.

Going from planet to planet, clearing out all the zones and getting good loot, and upgrading said loot, is some of the very fun. Think 'Borderlands' but with a mission list on a solar map, good if you just want to do one match at a time or hunker down for a long night of gaming.

This game can be a bit difficult to figure out at times, the movement and melee feel odd at first and many of the RPG mechanics have a sizable learning curve, but once I figured them out I found it very enjoyable and rewarding to play.

The free to play model works well for this game, putting money into the game is more a way of saving time than becoming overpowered. Having said that I've put over $100 in to this game (counting the PS4 version as well).

I haven't done much soloing in the game but it is an option if you prefer, however I find the co-op mechanics very unobtrusive and as long as you stay within an appropriate level range you won't have any trouble with other players. That's beside the point that the co-op is an intrinsic part of the game and more importantly is quite fun.

A very fun and addictive co-op RPG shooter.

This, although having a bland start (to me), is one of the most engrossing games I've ever played, In line with KotoR, Mass Effect and any recent Elder Scrolls game.

The Plot, story, characters, and setting are some of the most interesting I've seen. Whilst working during my 1st playthrough I found myself contemplating the motivations and honesty of certain characters; a rare occurrence for me.

The combat based on a timing/combo mechanic that is jarring at first but I found quite enjoyable after a while. I liked the combat here more than in The Witcher 2.

All in all, one of the greatest and most compelling single player experiences I played.
