Great game but you need time to get into it for sure to learn Perks and Killers but otherwise great game. That still gets a lot of updates and love from the Devs

Great game but ofc its EA sooo it has it flaws. Dont listn to the cry babys here its a lot of fun when you get used to it

Edit : - Invesible Lootboxes. Communication System has a Good idea but behind there are just Monkeys flaming Girls that Playing this game or rather Flame you because you are way better then a Avarage Player. So the Playerbase will be dead as always because all good players destroy the Gamingexperience of every new Player.
Maybe the game will get a little bit of Hype back with the Duomode but lets be honest you Official Release a Game thats not even Finished and 50% of the Content is missing. So the game will instantly die till summer when the Rankedsystem and statssystem is coming back. rly sad to see the game die like that

I really thought about writing a review quite long. When I thought about Darwin Project I saw a game with the idea of Hungergames with an old fitting flair to fight with your bow and arrow and your axe. There was so much potential to surround all of this with a storyline (which appeared in the first Battlepass but never got continued) and make the game pop up by keeping the individuality of fights and the customization of your own playstyle through different boots, cloaks, axes, arrows and abilities - sadly this game made a 180 and turned into a robotic and futuristic disaster with shiny lamps that give you darwinium to level up your gadgets (jetwings, headhunter drone, grapple) or your abilities and completely kicked the old ressource leather out of the game. Electronics, how they once were called, turned into darwinium shipments which makes the game also through its new "I walk by and swing once"-farming technique and the permanently sprinting without any stamina extremly fast and easy to get your gadgets to max. The three classes that got added are purely unbalanced and are too different from each other to ever be. They also destroyed the old tactical groundfights followed by logical stamina usement and trap placements. But why did all of this change so much? Given reason was that the game wasnt beginner friendly due to complicated customization of your equipment. Nevertheless are there so much more complicated games in this world and Darwin Project even made classes that helped out with this problem. The real problem of none staying peak players was the not existing skill based matchmaking due to too little playerbase. Believe it or not but there once were binded slots for items, different key binds, a leaderboard, a duo mode (that was a reason for many to still play this game), top 100 tourneys, working servers, working communication systems that didnt allow you to hear a player across the whole map without any option to mute them, no broken axes and most important tactical and skillbased fights. With this release the devs made old players that stayed around the whole beta to only E-Sports player. The community gave so many ideas to make this game grow, because we all cared about it, but sadly none of it got heard.
