20 years later and this game STILL rocks.

The game has been left to rot, with over 70% of the active playerbase at any given time being bots, a significant number of those bots being aimbots actively ruining the game experience. Would not recommend in its current state.

Some of the best characterization yet, a compelling mystery, and gorgeous artwork to go along with it! There's even a cover of It Doesn't Matter that plays at some point which rocks. The Sonic-style gameplay bits are fun, and there are accessibility options available if you find them too challenging! An April Fools' joke has no right being THIS good.

Sage and Metal Sonic have a quick and hilarious cameo near the very end, it's great to see them again

Also one of the production pets is Big the Cat the Dog. Whoever's cat-dog that is, I salute you.

it's fun watching the little drivers get shot and explode, or to dump a whole bunch of them into a pit of acid. if you want to feel a little sadistic this is the game for you

Cast into a sterile, cold and empty research facility with nothing but the disembodied voice of an unstable AI to keep you company, it's up to you to get through test chamber after test chamber, and earn your freedom.
A must-play for any puzzle lover, and great to speedrun. All of GLaDOS' lines are pure comedy gold, even some of the more threatening ones.

Despite its issues, Sonic Origins is still a collection of five GREAT Sonic games.

It is a bit disappointing that Classic mode still uses the Taxman ports instead of the original Genesis roms, the music brought in to replace the Michael Jackson tracks could use some improvement, and there's hardly any customization options, but nonetheless I've had a blast so far with the games. Maybe SEGA will step up and fix a lot of these issues, if not dedicated fans will.

For a hardcore Sonic fan, this collection leaves a lot to be desired, but for a casual player this is an awesome way to play the games that started it all.
