I love this game. The polish is incredible, the music is amazing, the gameplay is fantastic, and it has a best-in-class live service model that actually makes me feel good about dropping money on it. And I have dropped money on it. But Sony Entertainment decided to enforce mandatory PSN account linking MONTHS after the game's launch, and at that time so many of us will lose access and be unable to play this game that we love, including people I've already played with. That is unacceptable and unconscionable

Edit: Sony posted on Twitter that they were not going through with the announced changes as planned, but have not yet committed to never forcing PSN integration. I continue to distrust the company, and this review is subject to continued revision based on their actions.

I literally had to choose to either contact support or post a review to say I didn't recommend this game to others, so good job Valve for making yet another step I have to go to just to get a popup to go away.

I haven't beat it ever, but it's pretty damn fun.
