After so many years, the developer has now decided to turn the core game mechanics completely inside out just to make it "easier" for new players.

They have now satisfied the MilSim players. But Squad never stood for MilSim. It was always a mixture. Just pay attention to the reviews here. Those with a lot of playtime, who have been loyal to the game for years, find the update mostly negative. Those with little playtime celebrate it.

In it's current state I cannot recommend to buy this game. Certainly not at this price and possibly not even when it becomes F2P.

As a Server Owner with a 5k+ Community I am deeply disappointed.
