Great Collection Terrible name, mouse use option is innovation understated given how much of a game changer it is, only gripe no Deja Vu 2 (guess that would require editing a game boy color rom though)

Probotector clone in it's purest form (Yes I'm from a contra region but Probotector was the regions that used androids and these guys are metal) The game has a heavy emphasis on eyes.... like eyes are everywhere... so many eyes. Also hard as balls game play you should expect for this kind of game.

This is revised version of returns has some improvements, yet it's large amount of content removal is inexplicable, its so different its actually a different game from the previous one. The old version should have been included with it if not incorporated into this version.

A solid game for people who want a Metroidvania with indie charm.

While the collection included with this set is solid, it has to be stated they did not do a very good job in some regards. First of all the game runs in a forced resolution change full screen that does not cooperate well with windows often resulting in windows pulling you out of the game over and over again to complain this isn't the optimal resolution, it would have been nice to have an option to default it to windowed as there is absolutely no reason this set needs the whole screen as many of these games don't even take up the whole screen.

Issue 2, ok I understand Ms. Pac-Man was free at launch and I understand now wanting to charge for it (even if that does seem a bit greedy) What I don't understand is why you charge $4.99 for it on steam as DLC for this game when the game is also sold for $3.99 as a stand alone title.

Issue 3, Pac-Man Arrangement, while the PSP version is a nice game, the one most gamers have nostalgia for is the one that was the one from the Arcade Namco Classics Collection Vol. 2. Possibly it's an issue of emulation... but given that it's emulating the PSP version I fail to see how this would be the case, also there was a Port of this Arrangement mode included as part of the Pac-Man Collection for game boy advance years ago that was pretty near perfect to the arcade.

Issue 4 the game is marketed as a Museum set, given that the game is kind of lacking in extra content like some of the earlier museum releases for consoles. Something like the game rooms in other collections like the ps1 Namco museum games.

Issue 5, while there are some notable gems in this set like Super Pac-Man and Pac and Pal and Pac-Mania and Pac-Man Champion Edition, there are also a number of major ones missing. Pac-Man Plus, Jr. Pac-Man, Pac-Man: Adventures in Time would have been some nice editions to the set, Pac-Attack, while a fun game, isn't one I'm generally thinking about playing when I play pac-man as it has more in common with Tetris then it does pac-man and Pac-Land frankly still isn't a very good game.

Overall while it does have good titles it just doesn't handle well as a set and seems kind of inflated in price per features.

A Mega Man clone with a boy who looks like Mowgli and a Shiba Inu... what more could you want? It's brutally difficult to boot.

It's a fun game when you don't want something too hard to focus on,
Basically get the hammer and chuck it at enemies and dodge obstacles and enemies while maintaining stanima by grabbing food and coupons. If you were an NES player think Adventure Island.

Finally a Double Dragon 4. Double Dragon 4 has been a mystery of gaming as it used to be mentioned in a few episodes of sitcoms back in the 90s through 00s, The thing was unless you counted a bootleg version of Target Renegade or Super Double Dragon/Return of Double Dragon for the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom, it didn't actually exist. There was a Double Dragon 5 however (which was a surprisingly gory followup mortal kombat clone based on the cartoon series). This game is ok if you are looking for a followup to the NES titles particularly 2, it however it feels less agressive then the games its trying to followup. Its hard to say buy it or don't as it might fill an itch you have or it might not. Its more playable then the NES but it just seems easier.

This game actually felt like a brief renewal in interest in developing the Sonic 4 series..... at first... sadly it didn't last and even with the improvements made the game still was mess, Tails mechanics being added did make the game a bit more interesting as did the metal sonic downloadable levels being a revisit of episode one in this game. But I guess the best way to describe sonic the hedgehog 4 as a whole even today, it feels like a tech demo that should never have happened commercially. Best example with Episdode 2, Sega released an update to patch out the original leaderboards server that sonic 4 episode 2 used to rank high scores.... it broke the game for ios users for the entirety of ios 7 and it wasn't until 8 they finally right before 9 came out released a fix. Where as the other mobiles made efforts to improve gameplay by working with bluetooth controllers, if you wanted to use a controller with sonic 4 you had to do some fiddling with jailbreaking the device. It also only had one screen posistion vs rotating but anyway this review should be about the PC version.... which felt like another initial effort to make something interesting, realization it wasn't working followed by abandonment, Sega didn't even try to port it to the wii (granted that was nintendo's fault at the time) This is much better then episode 1 though... sadly its still not up to the heights of even the gameboy advance trilogy in terms of fun.

First I'm not taking a pop shot at this game to take a pop shot at it, but rather because it's just sad how it turned out. I'll start by saying, I've played alot of platformers, sonic 4 episode 1 or 2 is hardly the worst.... but that said, this is Sonic the Hedgehog, supposedly a followup to the 16 bit games.... it's biggest problem it felt like the marketing team had more interest in the game then the developers, and even they gave up. During its life little was added to the game it took ages to fix bugs. The portable version vs the wii vs the computer versions didn't have cosistent gameplay. The portable version straight up had some changes modified to be downright boring (Casino Street Zone Act 2 being the absolute worst offender). Anyway my point is its not a horrible game, but since its sonic people expect more given the hype at the time, and it fails miserably because it felt like the development team was uninterested in the game they were making. My advice, if you want a good new Sonic the Hedgehog game, get Sonic Mania,
