the first time i played this, i spent 3 hours here

only buy this if you live & breathe besiege and have beaten the original, otherwise it's a learning cliff which quickly becomes not fun. Maybe it's just the unintuitive buoyancy mechanics. I was really excited for this DLC, but after playing it = meh and I've asked for a refund.

it's too obtuse to play if you don't have 100 hours dedicated

it gives me a bad headache, regardless of the FOV and it seems almost unfinished. Very rough around the edges.

this game is built for passive campers, if i wanted to fall asleep playing a game - I have starfield

DO NOT BUY. Seriously flawed game loop in regards to water resourcing. I gave this game a few years to simmer in EA, only to find the same broken mechanics still existing.

Specifically pathing, districts (multiple towns), and water are all not fun, and not engaging. On the first level/tutorial, I can't expand enough to build more due to pathing & district requirements. So then, I just have to wait for my small town to produce enough research for late game items. Like I need to literally just walk away from computer, because there is nothing I can do in the interim.


Go play Anno 1800 or really anything else, the developers seeming have 0 intent on fixing this - given by the number of other negative reviews commenting on the broken water mechanics.

If I could, I would 100% get a refund for this.

No FOV slider? and no ability to remove the exaggerated head bob/sway? I adored Outlast and bought this sight unseen, but i can't even finish the tutorial it's so bad.

the quintessential, easy to learn - but hard to master game

runs great on my steamdeck, would buy again
