Probably the first game I bought on steam with my own money. Lots of fond memories of killing diggles and finding otherworldly builds while dungeon crawling. The market on steam is much larger now, so a lot of what this game does is done better by other games, but this game is still a treat that you can easily spend a few hours on, especially for the price.

It's a very kinetic feeling game. The sound design and the screen shaking with every explosion makes it seem like you're in a fight for your life. If you have a dualsense, the crunchy clicking of the boots into the Hellpod or the light kick of feedback on every bullet spent is felt to create an impressive degree of immersion. Even on lower difficulty settings, it has a hectic pace that can keep people entertained. On higher difficulties, the overwhelming forces make even experienced teams scramble into improvised struggles for coherent control. In short, its a great game.

Yeah, its pretty funky fresh. Intrinsic need to combo and trick out distracts me from objectives, but that's a true sign that the gameplay stands on its own. Music is very good, but there's a distinct lack of rock oriented songs, but if there's any real request for DLC, it would be for more maps (hopefully tightly designed or small scale) or more music. Only real criticism: The combat is pretty lackluster and not very punchy or impactful makes it a slog.

Fun rhythm game. Just wanted to voice my opinion of it as its getting review bombed.

I came in for a shooter, known for its great gunplay and its slow motion. What I got was a terrifingly tense experience, and it wasn't just because of the little girl. The tense encounters with enemies, the open and splitting map design of the levels allows for encounters happening in a number of ways, leading to easy replayibility. I cannot do nothing but recommend this to anyone.

To say this game is a fun arcade kart racer would be the understatement of this gaming generation. Everything in this game is an absolute delight from the music and stages to the myraid of characters represented, my personal favorite being Vyse. The game isn't for the faint of heart however as one progresses to higher difficulties, the challenges, all of which intuitively teach you to become a better racer, become harder than you would expect of any kart racer and even many contemporary games in this generally casualized generation. To learn also that this game was a budget shows that SUMO is able to strech every penny they were given, making this an absolutely pleasant experience. The only complaint I can make about this game is the cast which certainly by any range wouldn't be considered a cast of All-stars with YogsCast, Football Manager, and Total War taking priority over Shenmune, or Vectorman. These complaints are rather minimal however with the news of additional DLC possibly coming that might entail such characters being added.
