I have my gripes with BioShock 2 and it's constant, yet consistent and predictable, crashes. I feel the story and lore building was great however, it was only so because it build off of OG BioShock's foundation.

Minerva's Den is a completely different beast. I experienced not a single crash, and was able to actually be immersed in the atmosphere. Although the lore still builds off of main BioShock, the story in MD is standalone and quite enjoyable in it's own way. The ending is a satisfying and beautiful and to the short campaign and was compelling enough to keep me playing the entire DLC in a single sitting.

The main game is nearly unplayable for some, experiencing crashed during every combat encounter. This short story however, is worth the price of admission alone.
