As a long time player of this game (having more than 2400h of play time combined on steam and non-steam) I can say it's one of my all time favorite games. I always played PvE in Freedom, so I can't speak for the PvP or Epic experience.

It's a very niche sandbox slow-paced game that doesn't appear to a wide audience and I've experienced this by not being able to get any of my friends into the game, but the game is really good when you play with other people and not as a hermit.

The world is vast, and there's a lot of explore and experience. There's a ton of different skills to level up that should keep you occupied for years. The leveling can and probably will be grindy most of the time, but if you're into idle / clicker games, it kinda scratches the same itch.

Sadly, if you're a bit strapped for cash it might be a bit difficult to get premium, although it's possible to get it via in-game money and some people have managed to pay for their premium entirely this way but it is almost like a second job. I don't think you can effectively play and enjoy the game without premium, but you certainly can try.

It's quite short and doesn't have much replayability, so it's more of a demo. But if you want to introduce someone (or yourself) to VR then I recommend this as a nice first introduction to gaming in VR.

I was very surprised with this mod. The level design and graphics are quite good for a Half-Life mod. I quite enjoyed it. If you like Half-Life I totally recommend you to try it and play it through.

I really enjoyed the game. It's a shame about what happened with the development but the game as it is already has a lot of features, and the modding does expand that.

I do find myself playing this again from time to time, and I never actually been able to reach the deep levels yet. The game is not easy for newcomers and a lot of people will die most likely, but with practice and some tricks eventually you can get a decent town running.
