The Dawn of War (1) series is the pinnacle of Warhammer 40k games. I played these before even entering the tabletop scene.

Honestly, not bad at all if you can get it on sale for really cheap. Definitely worth it, even if you're a vet, and would rather just have an easy install of DS1 without having to install DSFix. Tons of fun, ran great and looked awesome.

In all honesty, the game is great fun if you can adapt to the playstyle. If you're a long time Quake fan, or just really want to get into Quake, Quake Champions is a great place to start.
