While the concept and the classes are interesting, the game is just way too slow paced and instead of it being easy or difficult, it's just tedious.

The spiritual successor of HoMM. Finally a game that feels the same, but is not a bland copy.

Finally a game that can scratch my Slay the Spire itch. I've tried Monster Train, fun, but not StS. Deck of Ashes, From Eden, Gritflands and some others that I can't even remember.
This one really hits it home. It takes away the majority of randomness in StS by letting you keep cards in your hand, or to remove them and getting energy to play other cards instead.
The map also has a smart feature where you can see which card reward you're going to get after a battle, so sometimes you have to choose between the card you really want, or an upgrade for a different card.
Definite recommendation!

Requires an Epic account to play now. Game was fun while it lasted.

This game starts out a bit slow, but it has the most meaningful customisation out of all the action RPG's out there.

No crashes, no fps drop and I every planet and animal can have penis in it's name. 11/10 would recommend again.

I tried to like this game..I really did. But after 3 hours of play I still have yet to get the "Wow what a cool skill or cool enemy" feeling.

I bought this game for €20,- on a Steam sale and that's exactly what it's worth.
If you've played Patrician IV you'll miss the detailed towns, but this game has a few more things to offer in return. Unfortunately naval battles is not one of those things. Apart from that I still really like this game.

If you haven't played Patrician IV or Port Royale, then I think this game might be difficult at first, since the tutorial isn't great.

TL;DR It's better than it's predecessors, but not worth the full price. Take it for half at it's really worth it.
