I got the original Metro 2033 as part of a THQ multi-pack from amazon a while back. I started playing it because I was interested in the story, but lost interest since the game performed poorly on my system and was so dark I couldn't see anything. Didn't bother changing the settings too much because I had other games to play at the time. Decided to pre-order Metro 2033 Redux because of the Steam discount and I am very pleased with what the developers have changed! This game is a lot more playable and enjoyable since they fixed the control scheme and updated the graphics. Definitely recommended for fans of the game as well as people like me who couldn't stand to play the original all the way through.

If your PC can handle this game, get it. 'Nuff said.
