also this game's controller support and various other things with it are weird and really bad. this game's online feels slapped together with all the weird save file stuff and controller selection

Must play game if you like kingdom hearts, ignore the haters and form your own opinion. Port is good, too.

AMD's latest preview driver has finally fixed these games and they are now playable on RDNA3 GPUs!!! I love kingdom hearts to death, and these ports are for the most part better than you would expect them to be, and with a pretty active modding scene too.

so far exceeding my expectations. a few questionable encounters but for the most part all of the new items are fun and creative, and the bosses are great. some actual experimentation going on instead of just more of the same game. definitely brings the whole game up a lot and adds a lot more gameplay variety

this game is amazing so far, but make sure you always close the game properly (not alt-f4) and back up your saves, a lot of people including me have gotten corrupted saves and had to restart

unfortunate price tag, but one of the best platform fighters ive ever played, maybe #2 behind melee. i love this game a lot

the game feels like smash ultimate (already bad to me) but as slow as brawl (even worse). the netcode is also almost as bad as smash ultimate's. the ui is the worst i've... ever seen in a fighting game? it is impossibly confusing to navigate with a controller. it's way too easy to accidentally queue into a match because you only have to press 1 button and not even go over a menu option.

someone in a review said this game has rollback netcode, which is blatantly false. i don't know where they even got that idea from. the game doesn't even say anywhere on the store page that it has it and the game has so much delay online that its barely playable to anyone that has had their standards set by other fighting games. i am also on a very good wired connection, mind you.

the game only gives you 1 character at the start, i unlocked one other one, and i really don't care to figure out how long it takes to unlock more. i've played almost every scrimblo indie platform fighter that has been released and, i think largely due to how bad the online is, this is one of the worst feeling platform fighters i've ever played. playing offline in training mode the game feels *fine*, but it mostly just feels like smash ultimate.

if your standards are low enough that you play smash ultimate online and want to play that game but with less polish and an unintelligible menu then you'll probably enjoy this game. i also raised some very high eyebrows at some of the character balancing choices but i haven't played the game enough to know if that's a skill issue or not.

the only good things i can say about it is that the sound design is better than a lot of these indie platform fighters and it looks better than most of them too, both in art style and graphical quality. it's better than brawlhalla i guess?
