Pretty solid text based RPG game. Can recommend this if you enjoy meaningful decisions and interesting characters/lore!

Just amazing!

It's sad that this one gets a thumbs down, but in the end the quality of a game is determined by the gameplay.

While the artwork and design is really really nice and unique and there is lots of attention to the details, the gameplay is really lacking in core areas.

The game is advertised as a game with impactful decision-making: And it just doesn't live up to that promise. The story is almost completely linear - the major events and turning points will all happen the same, regardless of what you do or not. There are some relevant story details that you're able to influence, but they are rather minor.

The linearity is so fixated that it even feels really forced at times, because some characters do things that don't really make a lot of sense in regards to your prior decisions. Events will happen that you were sure wouldn't happen because of decisions you made.

All in all they should have scrapped Act III completely and instead made a more decision-focused Act II with outcomes actually based on your decisions.

Great game, amazing story and most importantly: No RNG whatsoever!

Highly recommended for people who enjoy superb storytelling!

Clearly a game for Higher Level Thinkers!

Game deserves a purchase if you're into strategy games.

That being said, many of the game mechanics are pretty half baked, especially the win condition system called fame. It basically limits your playstyle really heavily, since you can't develop at the speed that you want - otherwise you will actually lose to a medieval civ while being in the modern age yourself, just because your opponent played slow and amassed more fame throughout the eras.

Give the devs some time to optimize the mechanics and do some changes here and there and this game will be great.

This is easily one of the most disappointing games that I've ever played. There is no story at all, the gameplay is just repetitive, graphics are mediocre at best. Just an overall awful experience.

I'm leaving a like nevertheless since the wallpapers are pretty alright.

Very great old school horror game, definitely one of the best out there.

This is truly a game for higher level thinkers. If you thought games like Civilization or Humankind were complex - lol, don't you dare touch Paradox games.

The DLC policy is grotesque though - at this point you could probably write a whole doctoral thesis about the DLCs for this game.
