Just completed

the game, here is my take to CE.

Standard turn-based game, skills per character gave them distinction - near end game characters felt underwhelming, though. In hard mode where every buff, debuff, and overall action matter, giving a character that highly dependent on luck is a bummer. I will recommend Normal Mode run to future casual players only, Hard really is hard. Game has no endless grind where you can be overpowered so you are stuck to being proficient and knowledgeable of your characters movesets. If you want a challenging run that needs mastery of hundreds of skill, then Hard Mode will give you exactly that.

Story is great, indirection and twists lived up to expectations, an easy 9/10. I will not elaborate further to avoid spoilers. Dialogue felt pedantic, this is a personal opinion, some like the ivory-towering speeches, some wants zealous ones.

Overall, albeit technical problems playing it on Steam Deck, this pixel art RPG on hard mode gave a sense of really being role-played.
