11/10 - a must-play love letter to the JRPG genre.

Chained Echoes is the first JRPG I've played in decades that can contend with the likes of Golden Sun. This game draws on what other games have done well but has its own identity thanks to the clever innovations it brings to the table.

Brilliant graphics, soundtrack, and story. Far too many of my play sessions went on longer than they should have because I just needed to know what happened next, or wanted to finish just one more quest. I 100%ed this game not because I'm a completionist, but because the game made me want to see every corner of the world it offers.

Super beautiful, neat, and innovative exploration/puzzle/storytelling game. Would highly recommend this game if you enjoy a story that isn't spoon-fed to you.

My only regret is not playing this game sooner, but it was super fun to play entirely on the steam deck.
