Been playing Total War series from Shogun really casually, but I like the Old World and really glad they've stuck with it.

Also got a second wind to it due to multiplayer campaigns

Very promising entry in the Tide -franchise. During the beta few things were still a bit unclear:
-Weapon symbols and what they mean
-Weapon stat bars

You could just watch a long YT video about the calculation, but it would be nice to have this information in game as well.

Overall the gameplay is really fun and looking forward to the actual release

For a WW2 game this one isn't so much about shooting better than the other guy, but rather a team trying to exert control over zones with garrisons.

Don't bother if you don't want to use mic and chat with your squad as that is 60% of the fun (other 40% is the pixel hunting in the wilderness)

FromSoftware has been doing these iterations for a same game for the longest time and it's amazing how much new stuff they keep bringing while keeping the formula working incredibly well.

I've noticed I loose the track of time entirely while playing, and that hasn't happened in years

My original thought was to play Hunt for a while with buddies, but after almost 300 hours I'll have to highly recommend it.

Audio, visuals and gunplay are amazing, the balance making all weapons viable in their own right is great fun.

Also it's nice to see Crytek keeps adding QoL and content updates steadily.

Many other reviews sum up what the game is and isn't. I got my moneys worth and I've really liked the game

I though the scene was pretty dope addition to the game. I get the option to hide disturbing scenes, but why take it away entirely?

What next? Are they going to switch the blood with nuts and bolts like German CS did back in the day

I recommend trying the 10h trial via EA play in order to make the decision youself. Combat is fun and complex, but there could be more content. Whether you find the gameplay to be worth 40e is up to you.

Low key hoping this flies under EA's radar and the dev team can keep working on this one without corporate interventions.

If you're a sucker for Kojima's games or enjoy doing menial tasks in a nicely crafted world then this might be for you. I enjoyed this game tremendously, but it really isn't for everyone.

I can't believe how good the game is. It kinda flew below my radar due to being an indie game but this is one of the most engaging puzzle games I've ever played.

Both the visuals and audio are pristine and exist to reinforce the game greatly.
