Just replying to your comment on my guide, you infact can change the default model in the player manager file, simply go to the the part where it has the function TranslatePlayerModel( name ),
where it says

return "models/player/kleiner.mdl"

and replace the quoted text with the path of your choosing, I just reccomend leaving it though as it makes a useful fallback since the file will always be there.

It's a dupe, so you need to go into the 'dupes' tab in the spawn menu and spawn it in with the duplicator toolgun.
