What Diablo 3 should have been

Enjoyable game with a cool story and interesting conversations about morality and ethics that we'll surely be facing in the future, up until it literally calls you stupid for not agreeing with the author in current day politics. It didn't fit with the story, had no context in the game, felt very out of character, had no depth whatsoever and really took me off the game.

It really feels like a different person than the author clumsily tacked that in there to score some brownie points, to the detriment of the whole experience.

It's a sad world when having a different opinion is a fireable offense. You owe a lot of the game's success to your sound designer and the fact that you'd fire him to appease people who don't even care about your game is disgusting.

I don't agree with many of his opinions. But he has not shown himself to be a bigot or anything other than possibly right wing or libertarian. Shame on you, Unknown Worlds. It's too late to request a refund for me, but I won't support any game your company makes in the future.

Since the dev seems to think it's okay to do whatever you can to hurt someone - no matter how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is - because they did something you disapprove, I'll follow their logic and add a review to a game I played a long time ago.

This is the game version of erectile dysfunction.

I had high hopes for Firewatch, the setting was great and the way they presented their story on E3 was really catching. Unfortunately, this game is just a missed opportunity. Everything it hypes you up about and engages you in the story is just a red herring. All the mystery and suspense in the story is explained away quickly and unsatisfyingly. Then it just ends and you're left completely unfullfilled and feeling like you just wasted your time.

It's been a while since I've found a game I've been this excited about. It's tense, immersive, fun, and interesting enough that I don't mind replaying the game after all the times I've died with permadeath on. It's a horror game done right, and I hope the developers are not done with it.

Seriously, give me more.

The best VR game out there so far.

I loved Payday 2. But Overkill is not a company I'm willing to support after their blatant mistreatment of the community that supported them for so long and made Payday into what it is today.

They broke the promise they made that no microtransactions would be added to the game, but that's not the worst part. The real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing is how they chose to go about doing this, by unveiling it in the middle of Crimefest - something that they themselves market as a reward from Overkill to loyal fans, and where fans can unlock new content for free. Then, by nerfing guns and making the skins have gameplay changing stats. You want to beat that heist in Deathwish difficulty? Better start buying drills to try and get the best skins.

And finally the complete lack of respect they had to their community by not addressing any of those worries and instead silencing anyone who spoke against this. A great game, crippled by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company that decided to treat their biggest fans as cash cows and milk them for all that it's worth. A company that won't respect their customers deserves no respect.

Amazing game, and definitely the best of 2014. It brought back everything that a modern Fallout should have been and despite taking about 83 hours to beat it, it only left me wanting for more. I really hope inXile has a sequel planned and that this shows there is still a market for these kinds of games.

Hands down the best classic RPG game I have ever played.

Who the hell thought that a "resolution" option with only a + and - option was a good idea? Laziness defines this game, unfortunately. Great and funny concept, let down by awful technical implementation.
