Who thought it was a good idea to issue Steam bans for not playing the game recently? You turned the people who just weren't interested into your game into people who hate it. Good job devs.

From the makers of Left for dead comes a quick money grab that will make you feel you robbed and frustrated at every turn. I want to play this game so much, but every single time I play I want to refund this game. The bots are non-functional, and I cant find anyone in public to play with past act 1. I would play solo if it weren't for the fact that solo progression doesn't count and the difficulty scaling is so busted you are forced to just sprint through each mission. Most "special infected" typically take more than 30 shots to a weak point to kill. That wouldn't be too big of a deal if it wasn't for the fact the game will spawn 4 of them on you every minute. No, seriously, every minute. If you play any sort of slow and steady you run out of ammo and lose. Keep in mind with the corruption card system, your run is pure RNG based if you can win certain acts or not. They put their season pass on sale a month after release before any DLC came out making those that bought the season bass game bundle feel a little robbed. I had high hopes from this dev team after playing L4D for years, but after seeing some of the choices they made, I dont think ill give them another cent

Just starting off, I certainly have more than 8 hours of game play on this game. I can see what the devs are trying to do here but certain mechanics of this game are just so damn infuriating at times. The early game is just too difficult and once you get out there is no challenge. You spend your entire time just searching for twigs to build stuff. The animals can be so wonky, for example, a wolf swam down to the bottom of a lake where I was picking kelp to kill me. After that death I just couldn't be bothered to run all the way back to my loot and start the endless cycle again. Save your money, Im sure the devs will finish the game by 2030

If you can ignore the large amount of irritating issues this game has, the game is quite enjoyable. I feel like the game was quickly rushed and not playtested at all when it released however. The co-op was terrible, deleting all saved progress, and frame rate issues made playing with friends a chore.

However, from a single player stand point the story was well crafted and had lots of options to choose from that always kept the player questioning their next actions. The sound track and visuals were very high effort and showed the developers did put a lot of passion into the role play aspect of the game.

If you are looking for a new game to fill the void this year before cyberpunk gets delayed again, I would suggest getting this game to keep you occupied for the time being.

It's okay. Bought all 300 copies, just waiting for the new amazon fridge version to come out.
