you just get 7 guns and get to deal with a dozen different enemies in differing amounts and combinations. There's no weakspots, no rock/paper/scissors style damages & resistances, no skilltrees,... just shooting at things till they drop dead. I found the simplicity honestly kinda refreshing.

interesting that a game about a dude going a 3-day reality distorting bender kinda had the same effect on me.

Game highly recommended, but schedule in a couple of days to properly disappear into this game

It's probably one of the first Valve games where the community was able to take over to such a degree in an official manner, for that alone I would praise it
