Negative vote only because of the false advertising. There are not thousands of possible paths. You have a base game that you basically play in different orders. A shuffled deck of cards will be different for everyone, but it is still the same 52 cards. (just in a different order)


I saw this on sale and it looked cool. But I was on the fence. What tipped it for me was that the developer said in the 3rd video at 3min 30 sec, that "your path with vary from thousands of possibilities." This is further stated in the store description of "There are thousands of roads across the authoritarian nation of Petria."

This is false. The game has thousands of possibilities, in as much as Sonic: America's Drive In has "over 1 million drink options". The reality is that there are only 40-50 drinks that can be combined in different ways, but you are still tasting those 40 flavors.

My first playthrough was fine. I quite liked the game. However on my second playthrough I have become disenchanted. I very purposefully made different decisions than I did the first go around. What I found was not that I really had a choice, but rather the illusion of choice. Different decisions had essentially the same outcome.

The game is not a bad game. It is sort of relaxing and enjoyable. But I am sick of the false advertising on procedurally generated games that promise you the whole pie and deliver you a small slice of said pie.

I'm going to continue my second playthrough hoping this changes and if it does, I will change my review. But at the moment, it looks like I'm playing the exact same game in a different order.

Do not buy this game! The first 2 hours are good. Art and style are on point. Feels a lot like Limbo. But then just after the 2 hour mark (just past the point where you can refund it), You go from being a little boy, to a giant meat sack resembling a ball sack with arms and legs for pubes.

Stay far far away! Buy Limbo instead.

Awesome game. Got it free during quarantine, but well worth every penny they are asking.. I played for 2 hours one night and spent every minute laughing.

I've had a lot of fun with this game. Would recommend again!

Legitimately fun

Very decent spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie

Great game if you are looking for couch coop. But the game advertises as both Local Co-op and Co-op (indicating there are 2 different co-op types... Only 2 I know of are local and online)

If you are looking for Online co-op, such as i was, you will be let down. I refunded until such a time that they add Online coop.

Also I originally saw this game as 4 player. 4 player has been removed from this release.

singleplayer and 2 player couch coop only.
