i installed the game because of the vikings on the advertisement, you can't play as vikings unless you pay

everything in the game is time gated behind books that require 6-8+ irl hours to read

combat is archaic directional swing/block with latency issues and bad animations

not enough skill points to flesh out a character properly... taking all REQUIRED melee skills leaves you with a character that will NEVER be able to swim

pretty much everything else other people are saying too, big open world with nothing in it.

I grew up with Halo 1, 2 and 3, never played anything past 3 until MCC came to PC, This is my second favorite halo campaign next to Halo 1

Always wanted to play as the marines instead of the mary sue super soldiers that destroy everything with ease and finally I can.

Awesome campaign with all the destruction and epic moments you would expect from a halo game, but through the eyes of an ODST and not a spartan. Plus the best iteration of the firefight game mode ever made, co op wave survival with up to 4 friends.

for 4.99 it's a steal. but a lot of people are saying you need to own MCC for 39.99 before you access. not sure what's up with that.
