This felt so barely Blair Witch, like a post-reskin to brand and market it for better sales, when it would've felt like a better game if it created its own lore instead of desperately straining to force Blair Witch vibes into another idea. Seriously, the only stuff that makes this Blair Witch is the standing in the corner thing (which is beaten to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ death here), the forest and the time loop stuff.

As a big fan of the original movie and the 2016 reboot, this had NONE of the movies' vibes at all. Instead it has a strange and uncomfortable main character who's a murderous combat vet and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cop who we're supposed to feel sorry for because he has PTSD and a sympathetic innocent dog sidekick. I have NO idea why Bloober decided to go this weird route, especially once you're made aware of the things he's done before the game even starts.

Add to that boring faux "combat" and stealth, an incredibly frustrating and lame final house segment; a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ silly serial killer plot, this whole game is just a boring mess of bizarre and frankly stupid ideas.
