My name is Sean John Combs, but many know me as Babyg. Born on November 4, 1969, in Harlem, New York, I grew up in Mount Vernon, a small city just north of the Bronx. My childhood wasn't easy—my father, Melvin Combs, was murdered when I was only two years old. Raised by my hardworking mother, Janice, I learned the value of determination and ambition early on.

Music has always been my passion. I started my career as an intern at Uptown Records while attending Howard University. My time at Uptown was short-lived, but it paved the way for my creation of Bad Boy Records in 1993. This label would become a cornerstone of hip-hop, launching the careers of legends like The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, and Mase.

The 1990s were a whirlwind. My debut album "No Way Out," released in 1997, went platinum seven times. The single "I'll Be Missing You," a tribute to Biggie after his tragic death, topped the charts worldwide. My fame grew, and so did my ventures. I expanded into fashion with my Sean John clothing line, which won a CFDA award for Menswear Designer of the Year in 2004.

Despite my success, controversy has never been far behind. From legal battles and public feuds to accusations of violence, I've faced my share of challenges. Yet, I've always strived to overcome them and focus on my career and businesses.

Recently, I've been in the spotlight again, but not for my music or fashion. In late 2023, my former partner, singer Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit against me, alleging years of abuse, including physical violence, sexual assault, and control. These allegations have rocked my world and divided public opinion. While I've denied these accusations and am prepared to defend myself, the impact on my personal and professional life has been significant.
