Long story short, do yourself a favor and pick up Resident Evil HD Remaster instead of this.

I tried giving the game a proper go more than once, I kept getting bored of it and quitting and I kept coming back thinking it will pick up at some point and get better, but it never did. It is just really uninteresting, story is boring, the enemy designs are what you've come to expect from RE and the boss designs are just oversized animals. And just as some icing on the cake now you get to manage 2 limited inventories and control 2 different characters to solve puzzles like one wasn't already frustrating enough and someone thought to top this off it would be a good idea to remove item boxes so now instead you need to either carry everything with you at all times or remember where you dropped it so you can come back to it later. I got it in a bundle with RE HD so I am not too mad, but if I got it by itself I would have refunded it without a second thought, the game is an endurance test.

I didn't find the game all that captivating. I let it do its thing for several hours and it left me feeling kind of bored. My review is entirely subjective.

It's an hour long game with PSX graphics that is very on the nose about what it's about.
A rain cloud follows you that tells you discouraging things, you collect food, water and pills, and later on syringes, I really feel like the game could have been a bit more subtle.
But still, I got it for like 40 cents and for that price I can recommend it, I wouldn't really call it scary, but the visuals and exploration can be interesting.

I really don't understand what half of the reviews of this game are talking about.
It's literally 5 levels that switch every minute or so to a slightly more messed up version of the same level.
The visuals are good but there's nothing else here, there isn't even anything to scare you.
Hopefully DECEMBER 2000 will have some actual substance and more things to see and do.
