Early Access Review
Game has very big potential, and is fun.
First the good bits:
- Soundtrack is lovely and fits in with the theme of the game
- Core concepts are great
- The best building mechanics I've ever experienced in any game
- Published by Coffee Stain, I have high hopes for this as past Coffee Stain titles I've played have been great as well (DRG, Satisfactory)
- The artstyle is lovely

It doesn't come without downsides though:
- FPS isn't very high, fluctuating at 20-50 on max graphics @4K (i7-7800X, RX 7900XT)
- The dedicated server has lag issues, while hosting from ingame does not
- It takes a lot of walking to progress (for example finding your first swamp)
- Killing bosses feels anticlimactic
- Once you unlock portals later on in the game, you're still not saved from the tedium of walking, as ores and ingots can't be teleported
- No Steam workshop support

Although the walking simulator parts of the game make me tired, the game otherwise is pretty fun and has lots of content.
