Postal 4 is... okay. Below average for a game of it's age. There's not much of a reason to play it unless you're just a huge Postal fan like myself. I'll likely clock a lot of hours in this game, out of love for the series.

If you've never played Postal 2, go buy that instead. It's a solid experience that over shadows this release, and very much holds up to this day. Postal 2's graphics are charming and contribute to a realistic atmosphere, which is impressive for a 2003 release. Postal 2's AI still holds up, and is batting in the same field as major triple A titles like GTA 4/5, the Fallout series, etc etc. Hell, I think Postal 3 outshines this title in many regards.

Postal 4 is clearly a mess from the get go. I've counted an insane amount of bugs in the 3 hours I've played so far. NPCs talk to each other through walls, you can trigger objects through walls, the AI seems to lack any form of self preservation, and the achievements do not seem to work at all (maybe a steam bug, but I doubt it.) I'm sure there are way more glitches waiting for me as I complete this game. The humor isn't as clever, nor edgy, as previous titles. They recycled a lot of the assets from previous titles, which isn't out of the norm for RWS, but I feel like that's the one of the few things that makes P4 feel somewhat like a Postal game.

I just can't help but feel empty when I play Postal 4. Postal 4 is exceptionally good at making you crave Postal 2. I wanted to love P4, but I feel we would have been better off with another Postal 2 DLC. Please RWS, consider releasing more DLC for Postal 2.

gta's physics are better

It's good, game play is fast paced and snappy, the graphics are tasteful and nostalgic.

The music choice, specifically the DOOM 2016 styled EDM pretending to be Heavy Metal that plays during the action, is extremely out of place and is already dated. I know the soundtrack isn't the allure of the game, but it feels so out of place and inauthentic, especially because the game is clearly trying to emulate that "90s" feel. Seriously, you made a great game, go out of your way to hire some real musicians who play actual instruments to make the soundtrack for your gritty old school shooter.

I just expected such a well directed game to care more about being unique in it's music department. Until the soundtrack is un-late2010'sified, the game isn't the masterpiece it could be. Yes! Music direction is that important in my opinion!

Perfect port from Xbox. Shouldn't be selling a game on steam that requires you to have an Xbox account, fortunately I have one, but it's a very trashy business practice.
