I highly recommend you play the originals. These remakes are just so soulless compared to them.

Bad PC port with plenty of issues, but it works well enough for me. Probably worth 40 bucks, so I overpaid, but I still like it and recommend it. Maybe wait for a patch, though.

The game is bland and horribly optimized. It is more concerned with shoehorning black women everywhere than actually giving the player a functional and enjoyable experience.

Carrion is a very cool game. It's a light metroidvania/puzzler with a unique theme that's neither too complex nor totally braindead. To get everything you will need to do a little bit of thinking, but not too much. The art style and music are wonderful, and it has a sense of humor without coming off as goofy. The gore is brutal, and playing as the monster can be quite cathartic. It very much sells the 80s horror/scifi movie thing. I 100%ed the game in just over 5 hours, so it's a bit on the short side, and I think $20 for the base game alone is a little steep, but I highly recommend it anyway.

Excellent boomer shooter with a perfect price that still got some TLC after launch. Made by one guy who really cares about what he does. Great soundtrack, great levels, great shooting. Must buy.

It's ok? I guess? It's too short and it's janky as hell. But it occasionally has moments of fun. If they had really gone all out and made more long levels like the City and doubled the enemy variety it could be good. As is it feels like an episode more than a full game. Mediocre. Worth 5 bucks.

I do recommend this game. But if you're going to play it, play the classic version via the beta branch. The "next gen update" is an utterly soulless vandalism of a classic piece of art. It barely looks better in some areas and looks worse in others. All they did was yank some fan mods from nexusmods and slap on a terrible DX12 wrapper that isn't even intended for gaming and called it a day. It runs like cold poop uphill in January. Not even supercomputers in 2022 can get acceptable performance at acceptable resolutions. They added terrible motion blur that makes everything impossible to see when turning the camera. The new anti-aliasing makes everything look blurry. They added cringe features like over-the-shoulder-cam and netflix content. And they forced a launcher on it that didn't exist previously. Hardly anyone at ESGPR right now was there when Witcher 3 was developed. A bunch of diversity hires got their dirty little fingers on something they had no hand in creating and slobbered all over it so they could resell it and pad their quarterly reports.
