I like it. It's sort of like Portal but instead of a portal gun, you solve puzzles with a (talking) gun that rewinds time.

I find it funny that I bought this game exactly two years ago and only now finished it... I'm not really sure why because the game is pretty good and surprisingly long when the whole plot takes place inside one mysterious building. The story doesn't stand out too much for me personally, but enough to keep me hooked. But the gameplay is addictively challenging and missions are fun to do. Characters are also great, especially Ahti, the janitor who knows more than he lets on. He better be done with his vacation by the time Control 2 is out!

Another amazing game from Giant Squid! At first, the area felt a bit overwhelming because there was so much to do everywhere and I wasn't sure where to start...but little by little, I got more used to the flow and just took my time exploring the area. The building puzzles weren't too hard, but spotting environmental puzzles was even harder, which I liked. There were even some that made go "Ha, smart."

I liked the story, and the cinematography behind it was a real highlight for me. Every cutscene perfectly laid out, wallpaper material! Actually, everywhere you look is beautiful since the game shares a similar art style to Abzu. Bosses were another highlight, every fight was very invigorating and cool. Nimue/Snake god boss and her whole plateau was probably one of my favorites.

Some downsides, besides overwhelming map (but this is subjective), were that sometimes arrows wouldn't recognize the targets, even when standing right next to one. But for some reason, I only had that problem in the first big area. Dense tree areas can be a bit too dark for exploration if you haven't cleansed the area yet. Lastly, the game can feel short and a bit pricey for an open-world game if you only follow the main objective. So, I recommend waiting for the sale.

And if you're buying this game mostly for the eagle, that's valid too. Either way, 11/10 birbs from me.

I was first introduced to the ME franchise through the spin-off Andromeda, which I also enjoyed, and decided to give the trilogy a try despite the game being old. And... I loved it! Such an amazing space adventure and an incredible cast of characters. The third game was definitely my favorite, but it's only great because you get to meet all the former crew from the past games in the third one. The only drawbacks I can think of are mostly about consistency and some other minor things, most of which aren't game-breaking and can be blamed on the games' age.

Absolutely worth a play and several more, if you like this sort of thing!

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this game. Overall I think CP77 did good with what it has to offer, like the world-building, characters and visuals. But at the same time, it feels like it's lacking so many things here and there, like it's almost 50/50. The game feels incomplete or unbalanced. Take the main story for example; it's really thrilling but so short, specially for a game this size. Even with the side missions that have to compensate for the main storyline, there are only a handful of really entertaining, interesting and meaningful ones. Most of the quests you can do goes like, somebody calls you to take out some bad guys, you get a reward and that's it. Especially after you realize how short the story is, the other stuff you can do just becomes a checklist. There's no enjoyment in that, at least for me.

And even with the abundance of things you can do in Night City, there are so many underused areas and/or missed opportunities, like the Arasaka area and the oilfields in Watson, that island with the space rocket west of City Center and Pacifica as a whole. I got really excited about the sports arena and the closed-off area only to realize you never get to do stuff in there...well fudge.

There are plenty of other things that are unbalanced or lacking otherwise that I could mention, but have already been talked about. So, I'd rather talk about the biggest drawback for me as an individual player which was basically the lack story content compared to the non-story content. The game's worth half the price because the game itself is half the quality, for now at least.

I loved the story-telling, and the hard choices and decisions that had to be made along the way. I liked that the endings I got weren't 'perfect' endings. Collectibles could have been harder to find, but other than that, a very good game!

Though short, The Last Campfire is a very wholesome puzzle game with great narration and music.

This one's hard to review, the mystery was what got me interested in the game in the first place. You can replay it a couple of times to see different outcomes, but otherwise the game feels incredibly short.

I recommend getting it on sale, if you're even a bit curious of the game. I'm content with what I got for 0,80 cents ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
