This is not a Homeworld game. This is a cash grab. The story is trash and full of plot holes. Multiplayer is dead after half a year due balance changes.

The worst part is the so-called "Future DLC and updates" were just streamlined down to adding two more factions into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rouge-like gamemode, some tweeks to multiplayer and then left dead on the doormat. At least 2-3 years of planned DLC was slashed when Gearbox found out this game wasn't going to make them enough and now it is dead. The ONLY thing that may save this is mods but from what I've read, Blackbird and Gearbox may not allow anything that uses assets or ideas from an established IP like HALO or BattleStar. Then what the hell is the point?

-10/10 this is not worth even being a free game. Go play HW1 and 2 and pretend this never happened. I bought into this way back when it was being crowdfunded and while I've made my money back working better jobs, I can't help but think that I should've just bought bitcoin instead.

The second game is better in every regard compared to this game.

This is generic FPS game (2008-2015). The story, even in the new game, its laughable. gun play feels like trash. Multiplayer is dead or full of cheaters.

Its a good buy for a single dollar, maybe 2. If you're a fan of alt history or alt world stories then I can see playing this game but don't expect this to make any sense. Its almost like an late 70's to mid 80's action movie in terms of plot but with some "shock horror" thrown in to try and make it seem like its a HBO show.

Buy it for a gag but nothing else. Buy the newer version for a "Better" game.

If you are looking for one of the best RTS games with a rich story, detailed combat mechanics and a somewhat easy to understand control scheme: This is the game.

I played HW2 back when it came out in 03 and it felt like a 90's game. The remaster brings all of the rich background maps, audio and story telling into the modern era and preserves much of the game play that made me love playing the original HW2. I had never touched HW1 till this collection came out and its as good if not better than HW2.

Its actually a surprise that Gearbox didn't trash this as bad as I thought they would. The multiplayer is still glichy and they've dropped support of this game for HW3 which sucks but is understandable. The mods for this game really make it shine though; StarWars, StarTreck...Gundam! Play the story and then spend the next 100 hours playing the StarWars mod that lets you pretend that you got StarWars: Empire At War 2.

Its GTA 4.

At this point you've either played it on console or watched a Youtuber/Streamer play it.

Its the game that everyone's mom wouldn't let them play in 2008. It still holds up today with its storytelling and gun play however the PC version is not fully stable on STEAM. I've had many issues with continuous loading of missions, crashes to desktop and audio issues with voices not correctly playing at the right time. Hell The Ballad of Gay Tony crashes at the same mission over and over even WITH fixes that solve other problems with the game.

Would I still play it: Yes. It still has one of the best Rock Star stories, one of the best main characters in a video game and is the reason most people bought an Xbox 360 back in the day when it came out. Its even better with Games For Windows live ripped out but you will most likely need to use mods to make it fully stable.

This is old/classic era Rock Star at its best.

I would still play GTA 5 over this if I had to pick between them but the game is still good. Buy it on sale for a real deal.

An amazing space RTS that allows anyone to pick it up and play.

You don't need to be the Star Craft 2 sweatlord to be good at this game. Its fun just playing it.

The best part isn't even the base game but the mods. You can play Halo, Mass Effect, Star Wars etc in a fully realized setting that feels like it's part of the normal game.

Don't play for the story as its all told through intro movies, background unit conversations and what you can dig up online. still doesn't matter because the game play is what carries this game. 10/10

Its an anime plane game that lets you shoot down drones in all sorts of cool jets.

Not much to hate. I'd love to see a bundle of all the old AC games on steam to play.

This is the game I wanted after Halo 2 and 3. I love RTS games and the day this game was reveled was the day I bought a better computer to play this.

One of the best Strategy games that I've played. Fun mechanics that echo back to Command and Conquer, the fact that you can command Spartans????

Even the story wasn't terrible. Still holds graphically to this day, online is mostly dead unless you can get friends together to play.

One of the best Total War games that you can play. It has the doom-stacking problem like all the other games but it has that rare quality not found in many games now: FUN.

Fall of The Samurai is even better adding in more gun units, better navel warfare and overall just more fun.

Would recommend this over ANY of the new titles including the Warhammer ones.

This game, for $25, is the best $25 I've ever spent on a video game.
This is a small independent project that rivals some of the best video games I've ever played. This in my eyes is far superior to Ace Combat's latest title; even with no cutscenes, 7/10 voice acting and a "small" sample set of planes to fly, the story changes from a rather alright to stellar in the final act. The world this game takes place in is interesting, the characters are ones where you'll remember their names; its just great. Is it a triple A title, no: but that's not what this was aimed as. This is a game for fans of fighter games like Ace Combat..and its damn close to being Ace Combat 8.

For what its worth, The E-sports stage has gotten larger and larger with each passing year. if I had to play any game, in a E-sports settting, I would pick this game, Mostly for the fact that its totaly based around teams working together to win matches, not that one guy that can trick flip an AWP five feet in the air, pull his secoundary, cap a ♥♥♥♥♥, and then proceed to 360-noscope with said AWP after he grabs on the return.

While I've seen this done before, and it is funny as hell to win a match like that, it still comes down to team work and communication to win. My only gribe about this game is that its community has become more league of legends like with players eather being really helpfull to the nubs, or just being down right trast talking dirt bags that try to vote kick you for messing up their trick shot. people could argue that whole type of player is spawned out of such a setting because of its competitve nature, but it seems to me that I've had better luck finding real team work here in CS;GO then other games.
