Sure, DL1's still great! I've worked at Techland since the development of the first DL game, so there's a lot of sentiment towards it from my side too... And I'm sure you'll find the Tower Raid mode in DL2 awesome

Is there any way to buy or pre-order Dying Light The Beast? I heard that you could buy the Ultimate Upgrade DL2 and get the Beast. But then there was no way, I was at war, at the front. Now I'm on vacation at home, is there any other opportunity?

it seems you have too many yes men in the development cycle and your comments, I seek to change that. I hope when making "Dying Light: The Beast" You guys take side missions seriously. Though the world of dying light 2 is expansive, it is largely empty in terms of content aside from fetch quests and speed trials. Focus on making side content MEANINGFUL. I don't remember a single side character AT ALL from dying light 2 because they were ultimately a checklist to complete. Give us actual story telling with sidequests. Try to focus on making them memorable and not just another step on the path.

reason i said "R.I.P Techland" at my review wasn't because the game was bad or anything.
I said that because game didn't got a cool dlc or updates like the first game at that time.

And yeah aged like a fine wine and we got a crane standalone game/dlc

anyway i updated the review because i respect techland and polish games.

Hey Highlander - This is probably the most random thing to write here , but I believe it will be buried and perhaps never seen again but ; You were correct , the team have done great on the vision of Dying light 2 . I noticed the comment you left on my review ages ago , yet decided I'd return on my own terms ,eventually . Having spent few hours jumping around , exploring the new options and in general playing NG+ I must say that Dying light 2 is now definitely feeling like Dying light 2 .

Thanks for the response on my DL2 review. Apologies for not being able to play DL2 anymore, but from what I remember my complaint was truly nothing to actually complain about, keep making bangers :D

Appreciate comment on my pretty basic subpar review, although game has been updated and things changed. I probably won't play it again or think of touching it until the beast comes out and I've played that. Thanks again!

Thank you for commenting on my review. I can see that you have put a lot of effort into it. Unfortunately, I don't really like the concept of DL Points at all. But I guess some players will like it tho. So if you really want me to, I can retract my opinion on this.

hey i appreciate the comment on my DL2 review. i loved loved loved DL1 i remember getting it super cheap at a game stop all those years ago bc i needed games for my xbox one and god i remember coming home after college and just playing it all day and think this game is worth so much more! got my mates play it with me and we all loved it. because of that and you reaching out ill give DL2 another go.

3/3 This may be a very insignificant thing to most but not to me (and just because every other company does the same does not make it ok), especially in a game from a company that takes such pride in listening to and loving their community. Still enjoy the actual game though and again I really appreciate you taking your time responding. Cheers!

2/3 My big problem still exists though. I do not want to see costs of packs that I cannot 1:1 buy from the points store. There are still packs that cost like 750, and 50 points is not something I can buy. I can buy 100 now which is a very good improvement, but I do not like that if I want to buy a 750 pack I have to get more points (800) than is needed. That is what I feel is predatory, that I have to spend more than I actually want to. Sure, I still have 50 points left after buying, but what can I do with them? Still have to buy more and more or just have them burn in my DL wallet. So I will not change my review even though it seems to have been improved.

I did play the through the game again at the beginning of this year and I did not expect the store to have improved so I did not check. But looking now I see it has improved, though I do not remember exactly how many points were offered before etc.

@Paahdin, I'm afraid it's not possible to retrieve the previous version of your save file without a manual back-up copy - we do not keep user save files on our servers, they're just uploaded to Steam Cloud Storage... Nonetheless, thank you so much for your time and the honest response
