Very interesting film. It's a shame that Valve gave up on providing videos through Steam, could have been a great alternative to the omnipresent streaming solutions.

I've barely scratched the surface but this is a highly enjoyable action RPG. Heaps of quests and a generous inventory system to cope with all the loot. There is already so much to do and yet the devs are still creating more (free) content!

Great game. The only thing bad to say about it is that it is over too soon. New game+ is acceptable for wringing out some more enjoyment after it is finished (or to 100% it) but more levels from an expansion would be most welcome.

Given that this was the first Bejeweled, it is a very simplistic example of the game that lacks the extra features and play-styles that are needed to give these games any kind of depth. I love Match 3 games, and whilst this is a fine example of one (it did spawn a franchise after all), the lack of extras that we expect nowadays makes this one tough to play for long periods of time. This one is really just for the nostalgia of how the Bejeweled franchise started.

Great rogue-like that is still receiving weekly patches to tweak gameplay and add new content/features. This is not a bad thing imho, just an observation to show that it hasn't been abandoned despite still being in early access nearly 2 years on.

I haven't made it to the throne yet, but I'm happy to keep trying.

Simple but fun isometric shooter that throws increasingly larger waves at you for you to mow down. Easy to pick up and play when you have time makes this worth a play-through in my book.

This is a really fun game which ticks a lot of boxes for me: 2-D Side-scrolling, platformer, shooter. It also manages to capture the humour and the insane flood of monsters to fight that made the original such a blast.

Very addictive top-down box-smashing, coin-collecting, dungeon-crawler. Haven't tried co-op or the expansion yet but the base game is great fun playing solo.

Edit: Since I originally wrote this, they've added a lot of extra characters (I think there's nearly twice as many as they once had), added heaps of new content, changed the achievements, added an overworld, and from what I can tell, squashed a lot of bugs. Nice work!

I loved Diablo and I see a lot of comparisons made between the two which can only be a good thing in my opinion. This is a very fun, just one more go, rogue-like. As others have said, you can't shoot diagonally, but once you get used to this, it is not a deal breaker for me.

There are some bugs still, but then a lot of games have them even years after release. The main problem at the time of writing this is that the achievements for completing acts aren't unlocking but a fix is on the way apparently. I've also had dungeons spawn on top of me trapping me in the wall until the mobs killed me. A little frustrating but no big deal.

Priced at $0.99 it is hard not to get your money's worth out of this. It is a graphically updated version of Qix that I had on the C64 many (many) years ago now. A simple premise but addictive nonetheless. It is a short game but would still serve as a quick and easy time-filler once you've beaten it.
