An awful lot of pixel hunting + almost as many illogical puzzles + having to search twice in a bag to find a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WIG = an adventure game done wrong.

Why don't you own this game already?

I have been revisiting the game after almost ten years, and I am changing my review from negative to positive in the process.
However, this change is only valid if you are able to play the game with a controller, as the mouse and keyboard controls were my main complaint at the time and the sole reason for the "thumbs down".
I tried them again for 5 minutes just to be sure and unsurprisingly that still felt terrible as it is pretty hard to aim and navigate the map properly (especially with weapons that have a charging time), while the auto-lock with a controller makes things much smoother (although it can also be annoying from time to time if it doesn't lock to the right target, but that's an issue I can live with).

With that out of the way, I can say that the other elements of the game are pretty great, starting with the novel part of this game : a narrator who explains the story and comments on what is going on and what you are doing in real time.
His voice is great and he never gets annoying, even though you will hear him from the beginning to the very end of the game.

The music is also very good and sets the tone perfectly.

Finally, the graphics still hold up pretty well even today, although they were a bit blurry for me as sadly the game is locked at a maximum of 1080p.
