Gunplay is dated, but the world and systems are wonderful! Yes, you've heard it a million times, but take it from a player that sat on this since day one - play this game!

So much fun! Best if played with friends, but still a rabble-rousing affair on your own or with pugs.

I'm not going to surprise you with anything you haven't read before. Starship Troopers + Terminator + Multiplayer goodness + a bunch of other stuff = This amazing good time.

GTA in Hong Kong with Batman style combat. A hidden gem if you haven't tried it yet.

If you're a Star Trek fan, this is the best game out there, overall. If you're not, you may still enjoy the ship combat. Not really any story choices to pick from, but the story is still entertaining without branching paths.

Oh, and even though this is full of microtransactions, you can totally play the game for free and enjoy the heck out of it. You'll really only need to spend money once you get to max level if you're wanting to min/max. The top tier ships are largely purchasable (you can earn some T6 ships in-game, but not all the time and not many different types).

My favorite sports game for PC. It's hockey with RC cars. No, it's not soccer - it's hockey.

Thanks for tuning in.

Excellent look at abstract game design. Emotionally compelling, but took me through even some uncomfortable emotions - including actual anger at the narrator.

A roughly 1-2 hour delve into some very fascinating concepts. Worth a sale pickup.

I have played this game more than any other on Steam. No game is perfect, but this game does what no other game can do. With the number of people in battle, to the vehicles and physics, this game is alone in a genre. I can't recommend this game high enough, considering I've never put this much time and effort into an FPS, and never have I been rewarded with such unique moments that screenshots or stories fail to capture.

The fact that it's free to play only solidifies the thought that everyone should at least try it.

Early Access Review
Try the demo. To me, this game was like Tony Hawk back on the PS - even the demo felt so amazing that I knew I was sold. I put about a dozen or so hours into the demo and bought the alpha gladly. Now, there are a bunch of variations on the different tracks and styles, and some minor customization options to toy with. Nothing remotely close to a story mode or anything like that ( yet ), but I don't really care. I still enjoy jumping into this game and smashing into other cars for a race/derby or three. Good fun and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they can do.

Try the demo. You'll see how the physics work and why this game is so fun. Take the demo experience and add 20+ other cars into the mix and you'll see why I like this game. It might not be for everyone, but I, for one, enjoy the level of destruction and the overall fun of the game.

If you are one of the few people that haven't tried a Civ game, you really should try it. With a low barrier of entry and high levels of management once you feel comfortable with the systems, it is a grand strategy game that can appeal to almost anyone. With DLC that only fleshes out the experience, this game is good "vanilla" or otherwise. Multiplayer started off slowly, but seems to be working fine, and that is great news, as the game can quickly feel as though you're playing a board game with a group of friends.

Try it, and I'm sure you'll see why this game has been a favorite of so many for so long.

Simple. Beautiful. Subtle.

This game put me through some subtle emotional rides and I spent quite a bit of time sitting, thinking, and remembering. To explain more would do this experience an injustice.

One of the most incredibly effective rides I've had the pleasure of experiencing.
