If Dark Souls would have more Wood and is a 3rd Person Shooter...
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811110984
Remnant: From the Ashes (Just Remnant from now) Is a pretty nice 3rd person shooter with great coop gameplay and hardcore difficulty ala a Dark-Souls-Like (i hate this therm tbh) game. It looks great, plays great but can be somewhat grindy sometimes...and unfair brutal hard...

If the forest fights back...
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2894867855
Remnant opens up as Souls-like 3rd person shooter and you quickly learn one thing: you WILL die. No matter when or how, you WILL die - At the end, we talk about a game where you have to learn and basically "learning-by-doing" like nature teaches you how you play the game...the hard way.

Remnant is not an easy game though, if you only play the story mode it can be a short adventure...and on "normal" it can be actually pretty easy but i should add here to play it, at least on hard because than the game is actually fun and worth playing. In addition, i would also say go and try to play it with at least a friend (you can play up to 3) because than you can revive each other before someone dies. Though, the game will notice the number of players which means more enemies will spawn and do more damage or have a larger healthpool - this is noticalbe mostly at boss fights where bosses in single player mode can be actually done fairly quick (IF you know the patterns) but in multiplayer, some bosses can be legit a pain in the ass...

The Randomness and the problem with the grind...
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811535093
This "is" kinda a problem with Remnant which i would call a double edged sword...
You see, Remnants world is all the time random. You have some "core" events happening, at least in the story mode, but next to this, nothing really is "fixed". Sure, you have world bosses but even those bosses CAN be random. This ALSO means: it is random what gear you get with your story and this actually forces you to grind on other, so called "adventure" runs to roll for items you "might" get if said event you might need for an item is happening - and sometimes, for some REALLY special things like weapons or armor, you might need even a world rolled which needs 2 OR 3 events to get just ONE thing you might want or need.

The word "need" might sounds wrong here though but than, some things for some bosses or enemies might help you a lot more than other things you do or "dont" have right now...and this is where i say it feels like a double edged sword because it can feel like a grind sometimes because some things are really hard to get, like really really hard and only with pur luck if remnant gives you basically a good world seed.

But this also means sometimes, you might just stroll though your said world seed, another time you get literally nothing. It feels like this could be handled better and only "extends" the playtime for the grind but than again, with friends, it is still fun.
ALONE in the other hand it can really feel like a chore sometimes...

Do i still recommend it though?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2931402682
I Still would recommend remnant but only and i really mean ONLY if you play it at least with a friend and not alone. Its an overall good game and fun to play, if even hard. Again, its a souls like game and you should always remember that, its not just any 08/15 3rd person space shooter or something. it is legit a hard shooter where you have to learn your movement and read and learn the enemy patterns. Else you will just die.

So if you enjoy hard games like said dark souls but just as 3rd person shooter and havea friend with you which might would enjoy to play with you coop, give it a go. It can legit be fun to play, even more if you get the DLCs which add more stuff to "farm" and go for.

Recommended - a nice and hard souls-like 3rd person shooter. Best enjoyed with a friend or 2. Alone it might be not really enjoyable and the nature of the game with the random world seeds CAN feel like a grind sometimes so be warned about that.

Am i missing something?

Killing Floor 2 ("KF2" in short from now) is BASICALLY a huge arena survival shooter...which kinda misses a reason why you should ever touch it tbh. Its not that the game is "bad", it sure is not, but it feels like its missing "somewhat"...

Holy sheat god dang its another Zombie shooter!
KF2 is in its core an arena shooter. You drop, alone or with a bunch of other players on a huge map and have to defend yourself from "Zeds", mutants n zombies and alike, which try to kill you. You can choose which "playstyle" you go before each mission which can range from classes like medic, swat unit or firebug, supporter, berserker and some other classes i cant remember right now. Each class has weapons - or weapon types they "should" use which differ how they handle and how you play them. As some samples, the berserk goes mostly with melee weapons, supporter with shortrange but deadly shotguns and medic with alround weapons which can at heal but only make "somewhat" damage.

This all sounds good and i have to say KF2 sure is fun if you play it with friends or some random people multiplayer but than if you play it "to much", it misses somewhat of a real "reason" to play...

It feels like it misses something...somewhat...
Over all, KF2 actually remembers me of a waterd-down version of "Payday 2" just way more limited and that it really gets boring way to fast because it feels like "brainless shooting - the game". In Payday 2, you have a lot weapons to try, a lot missions to play and a lot stuff you can unlock. In KF2, you always reset after each round. always. The only thing you do unlock are passiv perks for the class you play, nothing else.

Sure, that can change the gameplay already because some classes get actually way more enjoyable if you do unlock some perks but it feels like only a small "bit" which you unlock than changing something - it really only makes the class more effective and fun to play for a bit but you still dont really "change" the gameplay of how you actually play the class nor game - at least for the most part.

And this is why i pref PD2 more than KF2. In PD2, i have a goal, i can play with weapons i can build and mod, i can change builds how ever i want and play in which way i want...wile in KF2, i always have to start from the beginning, farm and only farm to get set back next round to the beginning. I only keep exp for my class and thats it.

Even as for the missions, they dont really "vary" because they are basically all the same. Zed wave comes, go shot them.
Of course Sometimes you have at some maps (bonus) objective but in the core its just shooting Zeds and hold out wile you do, get money, get better weapons for the next wave and repeat. Literally.

...Than why do you recommend it?
In fact, yes, i do recommend it because it can still be a blast to play with friends - though, again, i think if you wanna play something "in the long run", Payday 2 would be a similar and better opinion. Its not just it offers more but missions vary way more and you have a lot, a L O T more opinions and sure way more playtime till you get bored of it.

THOUGH,
KF2 can be still fun if you have some people to play it with but you might only play it 1, 2 or maybe 3 rounds and than switch to another game because of how the game works. Maybe thats the reason why it IS build that way? I Duno. I still would say get it if its on sale and at least try it, its not that bad but not "super good" either.

Recommended, though only if you play it with some friends. I would say at least try it or/and get it in sale. It can be fun from time to time.

A cute spooky "Hide and Seek"~
"Bail or Jail" brings us basically the childhood game we played outside back on our computers or consoles (depends on what you got it). Said here before: I got the game on my SWITCH and played it there longer than on PC which i will tell later why.

Is it fun? Yes. It sure is fun...buuuuuuuut...

A nice idea, a good concept
Bail or Jail (it will be called "BoJ" from now on) is actually pretty well made. You play either as one of the "Humans", have to hide and avoid being found by the monster which, in the other hand, can also be played by a player. So its a 3 vs 1 game wile you either play a child which runs away from the monster OR you play said monster which has to capture the said humans.

What makes it so "fun" though is how simple and somewhat "addictive" it is. It really gives this "just one more round" feeling since a round is only 3 minutes long and very enjoyable...
If you find players...

See, this is a problem i runned in the computer version and explains the lower playtime here:
I got this game and "tried" to find players. I played maybe 10-15 matches but i only found 2 players in total. Yes, just 2.
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2882757300
I really dont know "why" its not really played on computer but i can say on the switch, people actually play it. I basically find at least 1 full match to play and enjoy the game. So i dont downvote it only because it has a small community, again, it depends on what you got the game...And downvoting it only because of that makes the case of "getting people to play it" actually worse so better think about that before you downvote it...

Whats so nice about it though?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2882678641

As i said, first of all, its easy to play and easy to just "pick up and play". Its not super complex. You basically just run around, hide and if there is danger (aka the monster) you use your "free out of jail card" lantern and stun the monster (IF you dont miss the timing~). This at least is the "core" gameplay if you play as human. Next to this, if someone is captured, you can try to jailbreak them out from the cage the monster is throwing them in. Its a dangerous task but if the monster doesnt "camp" it, you can do it.

As for the monster, the monster has to look around and look for the lanterns and humans which run around - and also leave a small trail of footprints for a short time.

Again, this is the core gameplay but than some characters have some special abilities which CAN change up the gameplay by some. Different Lanterns, Different Monsters and like just to name it - and of course some good and different maps which also play VERY different.

This all sounds good n all...but whats bad about it?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2882757359
Sometimes BoJ "can" feel a bit unbalanced, depending which monster you play against as or how many humans are left. As i said, if one is in jail and 2 humans are still on the run, its easy to break the one out - but if there is only 1 left, it can be hard to break out the other 2.

And another thing i have to add here is, really now, the huge pricetag...
I really think it is a well made game but, for what it is, it feels like 20 Bucks is a bit to high. Someone already said "make it free 2 play" but i think thats now really a bit unfair. I think the price should really be lowerd by at least 25-30% (so around 12-15 Bucks) so that it "feels" at least fair to get a game where you have to also unlock a lot.

So do i recommend it?
In short: YES.
BoJ is a fun little "hide and seek" game and really well made AND fun to play. Though, i would only buy it if its some %-off since i think the price is way to high on the mark - and it really needs way more players. MAYBE a said pricedrop "would" actually help it graining more players which would be understandable. Else, Maybe if you even have friends which would enjoy it, buy it for you and your friends and im sure you will have a good time!

Recommended but should be bought if its in sale!

Among us - But better?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2827122367

By the look of Traitors in Salem (in short now TIS) and by the knowledge that "Among us" is a thing, we all dont need to fight over the fact that TIS was created because of the Among us hype is a thing... But that, a lot other games did the same and they did better than Among us but...how good is TIS actually?

Well if i tell you that they created a mod based on TIS(/TOS) FOR Among us should say a lot...

About the "better" part
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2829103783

Ok, lets begin with the negative and the only bad thing TIS has against Among us, basically:
It has only a very very small community.
Not many people play it and if you look for a match you basically have to look around or go on to look for games only on some special hours a day. This is basically the ONLY "BAD" thing this game has, its not much known because of that.

Else?
Well lets see...
First of all, the cartoonish look from TIS is actually pretty nice and makes it feel way more "alive" than the "Beans" of Among us. No offense but i rather play someone i can identify with than some blob thing. Next to this in some reviews i read that "theres like 2 roles and nobody plays it". The people which wrote such reviews have actually VAC banns and mostly a play time from around 0.X hours - aka, not even 30 minutes of play time.

So only 2 roles eh? Well...
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2873017273

I mean i duno if people are blind but already on this picture i can count 15 on them - and over all does the game provide over 25 roles for sure, "Townie" AND "Traitor" roles together. This makes the game actually more active than so much compared among us which added lately just some roles which basically didnt add much nor did they change a lot gameplay - wile in TIS, some roles, good or bad, can change the gameplay a lot. Just to count up some:

- Normally, a traitor doesnt "wanna get seen" if they kill someone...but than there is the Jester role which, in fact, wanna get hung by the towns people because he has the ability to possess the towns people as ghost which, in fact, is a very strong traitor role to have if the jester can get hung pretty early in game.

- Same can be said as another Townie role. Normally, as Townie, you should try to stay alive and investigate who could be "the bad guy"...but than there is the Saint role which, in fact, is a role where you should get killed from the said bad guy. Why? Ones a Traitor kills you as said Saint role, it literally DOUBLES his kill countdown - for the rest of the GAME. And the fun thing is: The Saint Effect C A N stack!

Those are just 2 samples of said over 25 roles this game offers.
Another big part, better than in among us, is the fact that people comunicate way better. Why? Because they can also use VOICECHAT around them - Ingame AND in meetings. This alone adds doors among us doesnt have by a mile.

Praising it to high for what it is?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2827854653

Again, the game has also some other "smaller bad stuff" like some roles are either stupid to use or nearly useless since other roles do a way better job - or are overall just way to situational like you have to find a dead body FIRST before youre able to "do" anything with your role or like but as i said, the overall BIGGEST problem is the fact that the community of this game is just super small because among us is a thing and the "cool kids" dont understand how to play TIS because "oh wow youtubers play only among us so why should i try something else" blah blah blah.

Need a picture of proof~? Check it:
https://sta.sh/01b4jl5x76y9 (a new link~)
Srsly, try and read the negative reviews for TIS and you can already mark 2(and some more) things of the list:
- They have literally no longer playtime than 0.X hours
- They complain that noone plays the game
- Mostly kiddis which dont understand how the game actually works
- People which complain that they can only play the "free 2 play mode" and not the payed mode*

*Yea, how can devs only wanna earn MONEY with this game right? If i tell you that the game was actually over 10 bucks in E.A. state and NOW you complain that you can "play it for free but limited"

Like this one "review":
"Every review of this says that it's more populated in custom games, but what they don't tell you is that you need to buy a $5 key to play anything outside of classic. Seriously, BMG, you make good games, just price it at $5."

...Srsly. Imagen you complain about a free game you can TRY for FREE...gees~

Here said, yes, the game needs a bigger player base and thats why i say, if you like games like among us, have some friends with you which would enjoy the fun, own actually a brain which works and want a way more cleaned up version from among us with active roles to play you should srsly give TIS a try. Its for sure not bad - in fact: you can play it for free in the said "Classic mode". Said classic mode is basically the "Free 2 play" version which only offers limited roles but again: For TRYING OUT THE GAME for free, its still somewhat fun. If you really DO fully enjoy it and wanna try out other and better roles, you might should put the said 4-5 bucks into TIS and get the said "Key to town" which opens you the door to the costum game mode in which you can play with other over 25 roles and try to create your own (basically) game modes as you like.

So do i recommend it?
Yes. I do recommend TIS.
Again, its way better than Among us, better active roles and deeper gameplay with voicechat (or not if you dont wanna) and communication has a deeper meaning here. Im not saying TIS is a masterpiece and yes, it only has a small community but that also means "less braindead kiddis" around which, in fact, ruined Among us for a lot people already because they think among us is "just a cute game" but actually needs some working braincells to play - And TIS actually needs at least 10 more active cells for sure.

If you have a friend and you enjoy such games, try to get this game. It can be super fun with the right people. And again: If they created a MOD B A S E D on TIS FOR Among us, how "bad" can this game be~?

From "the" worst game maybe EVER made to an actual fun time to play...
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2829638863

Look
Even i tried to "avoid" to play Fallout 76 for the longest time possible since...well...COME ON. We are talking about FALLOUT 76, THE game everyone bashed on and hated it for how lack luster it was as it came out and that it had no NPCs nor quests to do nor story line, bugs everywhere and like - So how should i NOT try to avoid it if you hear such stuff from EVERYONE back in the day?...Right?

From nothing to "something"
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2829638941
I admit, yes, i was such person as well which avoided the game because of the bad rep it has around the internet but being honest here, after years past, Fallout 76 is right now on a good state to play it. I dont say here "its now perfect", no but im sure it makes a lot fun and with Friends on your side even more.

Going back to the beginning, Yes. Fallout 76s past/first years sure were ruff and not the best but it seems like bethesda at least "tries" (carefully said) to give the playerbase this game has (which is pretty big for such "bad game" btw) stuff to enjoy and events which are mostly enjoyable plus actual content updates - infact, i write this review on the 12th September 2022, one day before the next bigger content update comes out, just saying.

But why am i telling you that?
I come from a game known as "Red Dead 2 Online" and if someone who read this review knows this game might understands what i try to "poke at" here~

Playable, enjoyable but sure not "perfect"
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2848696213

If you forget that Fallout 76 had such bad start - Like other games which had also a bad start and are now way more playable~ - and try to enjoy it now, youre actually greeted with a game which offers some good content to enjoy. From simple things like a lot good story lines, main- AND sidestorylines which are both well written btw, to things like bossfights, public events, daily events, world events to the regular farming stuff, lootruns, junk and material collection (i come back to this in a bit), character creation, perk and skill "trees", home-/basebuilding to other stuff - Fallout 76 gives you a lot to do IF youre willing to find stuff to do.

As i said i came from Red Dead 2 Online and its wierd to say that THIS game is actually more "wasteland" than an actual game which is suppost to be one... (YES! JOKES! IM SO GOOD! HAH!)

Still,
Said here, Fallout 76 is sure not "perfect". It still has some known bugs but so far, i only found small ones and not "to" big ones - sure some are still anoying though. If you might load to fast into a world or place, the lightning setting might loads still and youre greeted with purple lighting effects for a short time, you can jump on stuff which might bring you in a "sticky" situation (aka youre getting stuck...) or some animations break maybe so youre stuck in a falling animation or some NPCs begin to stutter and repeat themselves. Again, bugs which exist but smaller ones so its right to say that, yes, Fallout 76 is sure not perfect. It has hickups like most other games have nowadays but sometimes bethesda seems to notice it and they work on such bugs - And again, they still create content for this game wile other games are sitting in the dust where stuff is left in the progress (Yes, im still looking at you, RD2O...)
-----
But some stuff might be not so good...? (Sub service review section/addition)
Yes...Fallout 76 is a thing which also offers a Subscription service. Here i link you to my already highly voted review about it there --->

https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/id/watheanum/recommended/1202520/

In short, I dont "praise" its sub service but it might makes the game longer "enjoyable" as it is since it gives you something you need. And OH BOY do you need it...
-----
More enjoyable with friends for sure
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2856057004
Fallout 76 is a big game you can enjoy sure for yourself but im honest here: You get the most fun of it if you grab a friend or 2 and play the game actually together. Im srs here, it makes so much fun just to "help" each other out with things you need or missions and bossfights that you can put a lot hours into this game before youre really running out of "ideas" - And if i tell you that i saw people in the game which ARE in a level ratio higher than the 1000...and im just around the 230th Level with already over 400 hours in this GAME...yea, just saying that here...
Again, Fallout 76 offers you a lot if youre willing to "try". As sample, dont just focus yourself on "one weapon" build but also try something new from time to time which is maybe not "meta" but hell-a-fun. I mean i went so far and made myself a "Off-Brand" version from One Punch man (which i call lovely "Two Slap Guy" XD) for ones because it was fun and it actually WORKS, damage wise.
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2862661353
Like if i tell you that i began to build something for me with a shotgunner and explosive build, another farming build and now i go with melee fists and automatic rifles...yea i sure put a lot time into it.

So do i recommend you a stroll through the wasteland?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2851841074
In short: Yes.
Fallout 76 sure had a bad reputation which sure had its reasons but after some years, Fallout 76 is really now an enjoyable piece of game you can play and enjoy - alone but even more with some friends. If you enjoy "lootershooters", big worlds to explore, character- AND weapon customization, actual G O O D storylines, Home building simulators and great world- and pub events, you sure should give it a try. Again, it offers a lot for what it is and if i tell you that i basically played it over 400 hours, again, next to RD2O which got "highly praised" on how "good it is" - I played RD2O only 120 hours and i was compliedly DONE with its content it had to offer wile in Fallout 76, i can still try out new stuff, rebuild my base or just get new weapons i can try, explore the place to find new landmarks still and for sure more, other different things.

Again: Fallout 76 is sure not a perfect game but if youre looking for content and willingly looking for it, You can find a lot in Fallout 76 for sure.

I recommend it.
Its a lot fun just to look around for stuff, try out new stuff and just fool around in events with your friends and do things you might didnt do before. You can put a lot hours into this game before you might notice its already next days daylight, trust me.

SAID HERE, You might need some helpful links to enjoy the game even more or just to get a helping hand? I sure got you coverd. Here are some i think will help you for sure:

This feels more like a forced Paywall than anything else...

Ok, im honest here. I DO enjoy the content Fallout 1st is giving you but if you look at it a bit closer, a lot of the "usefulness" fades into maybe 2-3 good things.

Giving it a overlook what you get (and can keep) if you buy at least for 1 Month said Fallout 1st Subscription:

- You get monthly 1650 Atoms to spend in the Ingame shop as you like. This is maybe nice and sure somewhat usefull but more like a Bonus since you could also just buy atoms with any other packs or "raw" if you need them. A nice bonus, sure useful.

- The Ranger outfit is nice, if you use it for the first time maybe, but overall, more like a bonus - which you gladly keep after your 1st runs out.

- Some Icons & Emotes which is again a bonus maybe but not worth the subscription. You also keep those after said sub runs out.

- Costum worlds which noone really plays (so it seems) and even if you play them: You dont keep the progression THERE in your "adventure" world. So kinda useless so it seems...

- Additional bonuses and more "Points" on the season scoreboard. Said Scoreboard is "basically" something like a Seasonpass. If you dont pay said sub, you get only the "base" items from it but with said sub, you get more stuff from it - some of them can be actually pretty great and others can also be a %-More of points than OTHER people WITHOUT said sub.

- The ability to play alone or with 7 other friends on a privat server might sounds "good" for someone till you notice that most events in said Fallout 76 world needs a lot players to finish it or you literally miss out on those. Some are doable with 3 people, others sure need 8+ people. So yea, It sounds maybe nice if you need some "drop points" for items with a 100% chance "just for you" but else, not as usefull as it might sounds in the first place.

- The survival tent is pretty usefull but here i say i can understand that its behind said subscription - NOT saying its worth it but understandable. The only problem i have is that on older Seasons, so it seems, you were able to get a "better" Survival tent which has also a tinker workbench in there - said here: The fact that the NORMAL survival tent has NOT a workbench in it makes it feel lack luster a lot. Srsly, it should have one. You also lose the ability to place said tents if the sub runs out.

- And now the last and maybe most important thing in said subscription and the reason why it feels like a paywall and nothing else: The scrapbox. I say it here: This IS the most usefull thing you get from this sub after all, the ability to place all your raw material items/junk items in a basically bottemless box without being worried that this box will be "full" anytime soon.
...And this is a problem: In fallout 76, you do collect such said junk items nonestop, you do collect material items because you need them - but if you store them normally in your stash, they take a LOT of storeplace/weight. Like a L O T. Putting a bottemless storebox for junk BEHIND a subscription AKA paywall feels nearly like a robbery: It shouldnt be the case.

Again, We are talking about a game where picking up junk is m a n d a t o r y.

Youre always in need of it - if its just for repairing stuff, building new stuff or getting ammo - youre ALWAYS in need of said meterial/junk items...
And if i think LONGER about it: im sure if i would put all my junk i have RIGHT NOW (my character is level 150+ the moment i wrote this review...) in my scrapbox into my STASHbox...it would be sure full by now, just from said junk alone, just saying.

putting such important "item" like said scrapbox behind a paywall isnt anything else but sure not fair but literally a reason for people to buy and use the subscription service - and im sure if i would ask people (you can leave a comment~) why they buy and use the subscription, is MOSTLY because of said scrapbox and nothing else.

Srsly to say: This needs a change. Give the scrapbox to everyone. Getting junk in Fallout 76 is mandatory, everyone needs such box, literally. It nearly feels even P2W-likish since the box has endless room in it wile other people without subscription have to use their limited storeroom for their junk.

I would change that service: Normally you have 1200 Store room. Make it 2000 (or 2500) if you have a sub running, which seems to be at least somewhat fair but give everyone the junk box.
Said here: you CAN use the scrapbox even after your sub runs out - BUT: you can only take stuff out of it, not into it anymore (which is nice but still...).

So over all: I duno if i say here "its worth it" because as of a matter of fact, it feels nearly like a forced paywall infront of something EVERYONE should have and has to pay for "because reasons". I do use the said subscription mostly only BECAUSE of said scrapbox - and as i said, im sure if you use said sub its mostly because of that as well, if youre honest...

Simple yet pur fun like in the "good ol days"...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvNUIrObSxg

a new TNMT game? Created in the vains of the old ones from the good old days? Able to play it multiplayer with your buddies but not only 4 BUT 6 players? Simple? Great soundtrack? Easy to play but hard to master?

The ♥♥♥♥ youre waiting for?

Feeling young again
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2821791896

Oh boi, where to begin...
I think with saying that this game is created heavily for the nostalgie side - THIS side of people which still know that April O'neil is a "cute" red-headed female in a yellow jumpsuit and not a small black teenage girl for what ever reason (srsly, why they made this big design change is beyond understand...).

Yes TMNT Shredders Revenge is a game created for people which remember this old games and the said "known style" from them: simple, pur fun with just some buttons.
Yes, it IS button mashing, yes, it is easy to play but its one of those games which are simple yet fun but hard to master - like back in the good old arcade days.

And what is it? You can play it with 6 players ONLINE? This is something i was worried about: That the game is couch co-op only but with that slapped in, everyone has to agree that this makes the game srsly to a fun yet simple banger. Being able to simply kick some Foot soldiers with your friend viva online conection is not just fun but very addictive. I know some which tried to do this "simple beat n up" style nowadays as well, one of the better ones would be "Bud Spencers Slaps and Beans" but it kinda failed somehow in the progress since its kinda "to simple" and a bit to stiff...

So what does this TMNT game do right?
Well for the first, even if you mostly DO "mash" one button, you still can jump, use special attacks, dodge attacks, taunt and use some combo attacks - and if you play multiplayer, you can also hi5 your buddy to share your health with them, make teamattack combos and more. So as "simple" as it sounds and even if you have just 1 main attack button, there is still somewhat of a "variety" here. Using combos feels just good and since you can juggle your enemies around, a LOT, it makes just fun to go into a group of enemies and use your special attack, see the enemies flying around all over the places - and if you play with some friends, its just pur enjoyable chaos~ *just perfect meme pose XD*

More fun with friends, alone still playable
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2821884039

As said before, TMNT is sure made for multiplayer. You sure can play it alone and enjoy the music, style of the game and combos but the most fun you will have is if you grab some buddies and play the short yet fun game.
Yes, it is a arcade styled game which means its sadly a bit from the short side with good a bit more than 3 hands full of levels to enjoy but than - every character has a different ending, every character levels also up on its own (if you use them~), every character plays slightly different (making actually fun to fiddle around who you really wanna play as), the game style just looks SUPER good (srsly, its pixel style and its a good one), the music SLAPS (like the one i linked there~) and over all it sure is worth the money with the enjoyment you get out of this game. Srsly.

So do i recommend it?
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2821791938
I totally recommend it - Even more if you have some friends which play it with you. Srsly, this is a simple and fun but hard to master game. Nowadays, such games are rare and this TMNT-game shows that you dont need to have fancy grapphfiiix or 500 different button combos for just one attack in a game. A simple game with simple controls with just enough stuff you can do in it, packed in a wonderful pixel look and music which ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slams and you get yourself a banger. Its a bit from the short end, maybe 2-3 hours and youre done "if" you just go trough it but playing it with other characters, trying out different things is the real fun of this game. I finished it on my Switch and still need to finish it on my PC - which i sure will do AND enjoy!

Srsly, i hope this game will get a game-years-award thingy. Its something we needed nowadays, just pur simple fun~

This is literally only worth getting if you play with friends or teams which know what they are doing because of the Tag team perk deck but the fact this DLC is basically NEVER IN SALE and you have to buy it for the full price makes it some what of an oddball to actually "buy". If we talk about all the other stuff in it, the Melee weapon basically is similar to a 2 handed sword (and also that slow...) and the airbow is nothing special - because it counts as one of those weapons which cant get ammo back from ammopickups but only ammobags - and if you wanna go with something better you just use the light crossbow which already outclasses this weapon in literally EVERY WAY...And that im sure that i dont even need to start to talk about the "heisters" makes literally everything in this dlc worthless except said Tag team perk deck, literally.

Again, it is a good perk deck if you play with someone who knows what hes doing because you basically can get back to full health in some seconds (and your buddy as well) because of how strong the healing of this perk deck is - else its also good if you try to be somewhat of an "supporter" for your team.

Thing is: if a whole perk deck is worth the price ALONE is up to you. I dont think so since, again, everything else in this DLC is basically next to useless, i dont think a perk deck "alone" is worth the extra dlc here...

IMPORTANT EDIT
As it maybe known, the ingame discription of the perk deck is actually wrong.
Ingame it says:
"Unlocks and equips the Gas Dispenser.
To activate the Gas Dispenser you need to look at another allied unit within a 18 meter radius with clear line of sight and press the throwable key to tag them.
Each enemy you or the tagged unit kills will now heal you for 15 health and the tagged unit for 7.5 health.
Each enemy you kill will now extend the duration by 1.3 seconds and reduce the cooldown timer by 2 seconds.
The effect will last for a duration of 2 seconds and has a cooldown of 12 seconds."

But the actual stats are:
The effect actually has a duration of around 12 seconds with a cooldown of 60 seconds. The cooldown begins immediately upon usage (so basically the real cooldown is 60 - 12...), rather than after the effect ends. The 2 second cooldown reduction on kill is always active, not only when the Dispenser is in use.

Welcome to STEAM!

Shoot Trip Die (STD in short) is known and grown „big“ from the webpage „Newgrounds“ which basicly is nothing new in what the game is. It would count as a retro-styled arena shooter with some rogue-like elements – basicly a „watered down“ Binding of Isaac. Literally.

Sadly, it fails in things which said Isaac– and other games made already better, with way less people in the team and with way less „ego“ as well.

Favoritsm and nepotism~

First of all i already had some „nice contact“ with the dev and some of the contributors of this game before it came out on steam. The game got hyped up for „how good“ it is BUT basicly got barely any good reviews - Just a lot people on Newgrounds which basicly gave it a 5 star voting for no other reason than 2 things: favoritsm and nepotism.

You see, the whole game is created from „someone“ who is a bit known on Newgrounds with a team of about 35+ people BEHIND it - at least it was counted up on the Newgrounds page – 1 was the creator, 4 people musicians and the rest were listed as „additional art“ contributors.
Here you can already see that a lot people actually gave a ♥♥♥♥ about to take the votes srs for the game - only upvoted it with 5 stars with no review given– some of the dev teams ppl did this as well, just saying.

So if you as someone who DID write a real review about it and was maybe not „that tasteful“ than just giving „5 stars for it“ there, every single one of „its fans“ AND the people which worked on the game tried hard to bash on you for your opinion, kinda like twitter in a nutshell am i right?

I mean proof is given with the jester rewards i got for this rev~

But now, we are here on steam and the cards are played different...

Yes, im sure that even around steam said favoritsm and nepotism are a thing but the difference here is: On steam, if people do that, the game and its dev(team) gets BANNED for it (Someone remembers the game „Zi“~? Just one sample...).
https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2803539711

So with that said, i think we FINALLY can go on to talk about the game for real, right~?

Already on Newgrounds this game got a lot compared to „The Binding of Isaac, just on drugs“. The problem is, the Original Binding of Isaac was created from like 4 people and offerd a lot more compared to this game.

First of all, STD tries hard to rock the retro style somewhat...but in what „kind“ of style? You see, It doesnt look like NES- (but i think it tries to) nor SNES games but the closest style you can „think“ of might be basicly „good“ atari styled games. Thats nothing to bash on tbh but than, this game had a lot „additional art“ contributors - so what did this contributors actually „ADD“ to its style or game?

Again, Look at Binding of Isaac (team of 4 people) and now look at STD (team of 35+ people), you basicly can see what i talk about if you have again the amount of people which worked on each game in mind as well.

Next to this, unlike Isaac, this game is basicly more an „arena to arena“ game where isaac has this in its base as well but it does that just way smoother and better and adds a MAP system, i would even go and compare it more with games like „Robotron 2084“ where it also just throws sometimes a „shop“ like area in, nothing more. Of course, it has some boss fights but than, thats basicly it and for the pricetag, just to add that here, it feels like a lot is missing. But did i not forgot something?

Oh yes, i did. The fact that you basicly do play „Tutankham“ from Konami here.

What does that mean? In said game from 1982, you runned around from the topview in tomb-similar labyrinths but were ONLY able to shoot left and right – like in STD for no reason.

This already „limits“ the style of „how you engage your enemies“ and can feel somewhat tedious at times. Its not as hard as in said Tutankham where you basicly had to sit in corners and „wait“ till you could actually move and able to shoot your enemies but you still will really quick notice that this kind of gameplay choice feels more like a limitation and gets a lot in the way. I can think about that the dev did add that „just because“ so that the game adds some kind of „depth“ or „game-change“ into it but it actually feels more like an obstacal and actual limitation than anything else. I mean, you have a free 8-way movement like in binding of Isaac but only 2 directions to fire at - It feels off.

A bit from the short stick...

The problem is also that for nearly the same pricetag you can get better games than STD, sadly. I dont wanna talk it down but for the same pricetag i can get myself a bit cheaper the original Binding of Isaac or, just adding a bit more, the newer, better version from it – Even if im not going for rogue likes, i still can get a lot other games like „Terraria“ as one sample in which i could put hundrets of hours into wile in STD maybe just 2. Still, if i wanna stay with rogue-likes i have better opinions over all:

- You wanna stay classical, you play Isaac or Hammerwatch (the old one which is more styled after „Gauntlet“ or the newer which is basicly a mix of RPG and rogue-like).
- You wanna actually exsplore some great places or go in the underground, you play Undermine or Dungreed.
- You wanna go and play multiplayer in a very nice looking retro style or even in 3d as 3rd person shooter, you play Vagante or Risk of Rain 2.
- You wanna go crazy with guns or synthwave music in neon style, you either play Enter the Gungeon or Neon Abyss.

As you can already see, the market is FLOOD with such games - and STD is just „one of many“ from them. The problem here is, most games i counted up have at least something „unique“ about them – Like Vagante which has 4 player online multiplayer. STD in the other hand has nothing which makes it „feel unique“, in fact it feels like a „watered down“ version from Binding of Isaac. Its basicly there „just because“, limits itsself with the odd playstyle „2-way shooting only“ choice and thats it.

It feels like an normal, genetic retro styled arena shooter with some base rogue-like elements and has a pricetag for which you can get other and/or better games in the same style and/or even genre. It doesnt really add something „to“ the genre unlike games which basicly wrote them anew like said and so often compared Binding of Isaac. Its just “there“.

I mean there are even „basic free games“ on steam in such „room to room“ shooting style but more from the arcade-ish side like „Frantic Dimension“ – and as „basic“ as this game is, it still has more depth than STD has... and is free.

So do i recomment it?

I dont wanna say STD is a bad game but its just WAY to basic in literally every- and anyway than other, similar games which came out years before STD and are either just cheaper, better, offer way more for the same price or are overall free.
So i cant „force“ myself to give it „just 5 stars and thats it“. Maybe the middle of 2.5-3 Stars – or similar – are worth it giving but again, it adds nothing new to the table what was already seen somewhere else and i cant „praise“ it high if i have other, SMALLER indie dev „teams“ in mind which were basicly „unknown“ and did just WAY better with the stuff they had „for its time“.

All STD does is just using "buzz-words" to look "hip and cool".

So, i hardly say no to it but that doesnt mean its not worth trying - but if you only wanna „try it“, you can also go on Newgrounds and play the Demo there because there you can actually play it for free and test and see yourself, how it is.

Not Recommented – its just way to basic for what it is. It gives literally TONES of better, similar games right now and STD falls basicly way to flat in this flood of games. Its way to Barebones...

Normally i write bigger and longer reviews...if its worth it.
This time i have to agree with a lot other reviews and thats why i keep it short as well:
MHR -IS- a good game but this deluxe kit is clearly not worth it, not in the slightest. Go get yourself MHR the standard edition.
Srsly, at this point, noone is judging you if you skip this DLC...
