Ah well Team Fortress 2...
Its like one of those "love n hate" relationships...
There are times you jump back into it coz you remember "the good times" where you actually enjoyed playing it and than, after that "jump" mostly happend, you realise WHY you stoped playing it for a longer time...

It IS a shame and that becourse of its state

Right now, TF2 has serveral problems which i dont think i need to call by name coz im sure, everyone who "tries" to enjoy TF2 nowadays knows what im talking about but since its a review and i "have to" write something, i do it anyway so maybe valve sees "finally" whats going on...

- The (skript/hacker) Childs in the game.
This is not a huge problem but its one which is also nagging on TF2s reputation: Kids play a "oh so brutal game".
The problem IS, this is not Valves fault (SOMEWHAT) since the age rating for TF2 IS 16+, means that kids below 16 shouldnt even be able to play it but since a lot PARENTS (yes, i mark the parents here) dont care what their children are doing, i and im sure a lot others of you saw already a bunch of youtube videos where people recorded such "rage kiddis in TF2" videos.
Not only does those "kids" bug for the most of the time but also throw around WILD "hackusations" (meaning: They call you hacker becourse youre just LEGIT owning them and they really lack of the skill to realise that) around which nowadays (if you know what i mean...) ends you up quickly with a kick from a server for just trying to enjoying the game.
I dont say "ALL of them" but most of them. Even i encounterd such which banned me for not hearing me backstabbing people...wile i used the eternal reward....so yea about that...

-The broken weapons (Map hitboxes to be exact)
Right now, some weapons are outright broken like the projectiles from the sandman, wrap assassin, flare guns and other weapons. Its actually not the weapons which are broken, more of way to oversized hitboxes on the maps itselves. This makes half of the time some weapons doesnt really work or are unusable on certain areas of some maps. I hope for valve that they fix that soon coz it affects a lot weapons already and even more a lot maps.

-The Bot problem...which...is huge.
Yes. this is mostly the biggest problem right now. Bots. Bots EVERYWHERE. The problem is that it seems like valve didnt even really care about those bots. Yes, they made some fixes some weeks ago about the bot problems which spamed the "N" word and stuff like around the chat but the "REAL" problem, the aimbots and hackers, are still exist. They basicly was only worried about the news called them out that bots and people used the chat for racisim - which they fixed but that was pretty much it.
No for real though, They made no attempt to even fix the REAL problem there, just tried to save their "good reputation" but didnt fixed the core problem there - which needs to be fixed very very quickly else i dont see that TF2 will have a good future...And the bigger problem is: by day it feels like the bots get more and more by now...

- "Those" people In MvM
Even if you say now "ok ♥♥♥♥ the bots i play MvM or on custom servers"...well as on said custom servers you will meet again said childs...and in MvM...you have to deal with the toxic people from time to time - aaaand sometimes you meet "THOSE" toxic people. I dont think i need to name "which group" of people i mean if i just need to say that those actually think they have to "clean" Mvm from all the bad players by actually not only throwing remarks around the room, "N" word BOMBING the players, retry-spaming them and even worse, pretty much explains that valve didnt check those people in the first place nor do they actually care about the community as WHOLE. I mean yes, they are toxic people in every community somewhere somewhat, no doubt about that, but as of the statement of the game right now, this people are not just toxic, srsly here, the word "TOXIC" gets a whole new meaning if you meet those people ones for you.

So right now i sadly have to say, even with all my hours and love of the game, just stay away from TF2 as good and far as you can. Even I sure "TRY" to jump in from time to time to quicky l see why i stoped playing it. It literally is not playable in the current state. Casual is overrunned by bots, MvM is a toxic feast, most custom servers are kindergarden backyards and, if not, also slowly taken over by bots as well.

So before even thinking that TF2 is "in need" of new weapons or the heavy update, valve has a lot work to do to fix their game. like literally...
