Fantastic Game!
I love the music, the story and the universe that the game takes place in!!
Could not recommend it enough if you like turn-based rpgs with a hint of over-world exploration.

The Puzzles were very fun and well thought out!

The game was omega fun and the story was great to follow along until Season of the Lost where the story was minimally added and the content was the same ♥♥♥♥ different season.

The story was easy to follow and the puzzles were relatively simple yet also got you thinking.
The chills and thrills of the compelling story always kept me on edge.
Definitely worth a try and the money even if it wasn't on sale.

Thoughts:
Overall coming into this game, I expected it to be kind of boring as it looked really goofy from the preview pictures. I would highly recommend this game for lovers and the best of friends to have as much as much fun as I did with my friend. I would in fact replay this game as Cody as through my first run I played as May. At first the main characters were obnoxious but in time you started to grow more and more attached to them. They correctly divided the game between its graphics, story, character development and minigames/puzzles.

Graphics: (5/5)
Not much to comment about how beautiful this game is in Ultra settings. There are a good number of portions in the game where you're able to sit back and enjoy the scenery such as the Clocktower and the Snow globe areas.

Gameplay: (4.5)
The gameplay was fantastic, for the most part of it. It had a lot of creativity in the mechanics of itself. You felt as you were playing completely different games at certain points in time which were all enjoyable. They had stressful situations as well as peaceful puzzle solving portions that had you rely on one another while completing the game. Each portion of the game was unique and well thought out. With this game I feel it is separated into sections or areas and within each area it has a certain amount of clear time with its objectives. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed that as we got closer to the end of the game that the areas were taking much less time to complete. Greenhouse and Musical area for example. That and a mixture of the hard control scheme for certain portions that lead to pointless deaths knock off a tiny bit of its score.

Story: (4/5)
Story was a bit basic, but the game-play kept it amusing. At first you were loathing the main characters and the book but as time progressed you start to invest into the characters keeping you focused on what is happening. Some funny moments such as how the daughter can clearly see that May is knocked out but acts as if she can hear her. Maybe I would have positioned Cody's body to be asleep laying the desk it would have made more sense. (*Cough* just makes him look like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ignoring his daughter sat up at his desk) Another issue with this story is how I was able to predict the ending after we got to the Squirrel portion of the game however was still thoroughly enjoying my time getting to the ending.

Completion Time: (5/5)
Wow for only $40 you get 9.5 hours. I was shocked by how much time we were playing the game for. No, we did not rush the finish line and no we did not take our time. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the mini games versing one another probably making up an hour of the game time. Boss fights only took about 20-30m in each area. Keep in mind this is how long my friend and I took but I probably would be willing to redo the story as Cody instead of May practically doubling our time, sure it would take a little less time. I would estimate 15 hours of playtime if you play both characters.

Gave me enough laughs, sad moments and connected my friend and I to the characters having us pity them or calling them ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at points ha-ha.

Enjoyable to just go around and eat things as you watch your shark evolve. I wish there were more evolutions and more ways to get them aside from side missions and collectable hunting which is also kind of enjoyable to do but can get boring and repetitive.

I am only down voting this game and not recommending it as this is the 5th time it has crashed and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my computer settings. 6th time it restarted my computer and my computer hardware is more than capable of running this game on ultra as I am able to play for about 10 minutes before it just crashes without warning. There are also loads of bugs within the game so I highly recommend against getting this game until they fix it up.

Edit: It would seem with a little less than an extra year in development that they managed to fix out most of the bugs and game breaking things to make it semi enjoyable.
