I never played any other Civ game before this. Played a lot of Rise of Nations though. That historical element was what drew me to this game. And let me tell you guys something, this game exceeded whatever expectations I had while purchasing this.

I played the base game for a very few days before I got both the expansions. The expansions change the whole experience of the game for the better. It has become so addictive, that I am now even afraid to open the game. The "one more turn..." saying is extremely true.

I cannot recommend this game enough. Get the whole anthology bundle. It is really worth it.
