Pros:

This is such a novel idea for a game, and very well executed! I'm playing it during Early Access, but it was totally playable. In 24h of time spent in game, I only fell through the ground and broke my legs twice!

Highly recommend for anyone who likes simulation games (ex. Rimworld) or knowledge-based mystery games (ex. Outer Wilds). It's very stable in its current state, and clearly has so much potential for a richer, more immersive world.

"Areas for Improvement":

The main thing I would like to see fixed is consistency between clues. For example, I had 3 victims from one killer who all wrote countless notes and journal entries about a "stalker" who they had seen following them for days, all stating that the person was bold enough to just stand outside their door at night. Yet when reviewing the camera footage of all 3 different crime scenes, the killer was nowhere to be found.

The fingerprint mechanic is fun, but between having access to a certain database and simply scanning enough fingerprints, the later missions become trivial. It would be good to see this system re-balanced. Similarly, I haven't seen any use for the blood type system yet.

As far as I know, this is one developer doing everything. Very impressive, keep it up!

There are some bugs, but most of the time it works great and it's a chill game to play with some friends. Definitely check out the user made maps.

Obviously a great game worth whatever price you're paying. Best of 2016. Great soundtrack.
